Just chuck them in a checked-in luggage.
How do they go cutting through airport security
FTFY
they wanted to err eat strawberries on a plane and just following govt guidelines on slice before you eat
No worries. Just make good use of the airport's metal detectors and no knives will be needed. Just dispose of whichever berry that sounded the alarm and all will be good.
by law ceramic knives have a piece of metal in the handle ….this is so metal detectors pick them up and so they can’t be taken on planes as carry on ……
terrorists would need to melt off the pastic handle , remove the metal and put another non metallic handle back on the knife if they want to get one last metal detector.

Melting plastic…that sounds tricky! Hang on, these are fireproof
blade is fire proof, the handle isn’t ….
Didn't know much about ceramic knives and I found this article to be quite helpful: https://www.knivesandtools.com/en/ct/ceramic-knives.htm
Fireproof, rustproof, germ resistant and stain resistant
Vote for misleading and BS marketing. Can't see the plastic handles coming out of a fire in good shape and would like some evidence of these being any more germ resistant than stainless.
Purchased a set. Thanks!
How do you sharpen them?
Diamond knife sharpeners
Sounds expensive.
Yeah idk what a good one costs. Obviously isn't actually diamonds, either is fake or just a random rock harder than the ceremic.
Personally I find these knives more crack or chip (I'll admit I don't look after them well though) and I just buy another set every year or two… Never bothered sharpening.
Cheaper to buy good metal knife + sharpener, but you have to actually look after it then. They're not cheap or semi-disposable, but they won't crack and will last a lot longer with regular care.

$12.96 USD (17.85 AUD) here. Different brand but does the job..
i once splurged on kyocera knives …when there weren’t many ceramic options …. cheapies are just as good as expensive ceramics and when you drop them they can chip,
love aliexpress , always strips away brands and the premium and gets back to the basics.

just asking for a friend.
