    "20% off Kathmandu"
    lol…

should be 80% off Kathmandu to get to the reasonable prices range

  • Not sure how much of a bargain this actually is, as Kathmandu seem to have 30 - 50% off sales every month or so.

So probably not worth buying ebay Plus just for this discount offer, but if you already have it, this may come in use one day.

  • Kathmandu i like there stuff, but i feel there just way too overpriced.

    • I like THEIR stuff too and I feel THEY’RE slightly overpriced only. The quality is pretty good imho.

  • They always have clearances that’s the only acceptable time to buy anything. And stacked with 15% off gift cards previously.

Be careful with impulse buys on this.

20% off sounds big, but if you go direct to their website their "summit membership" pricing is often far cheaper (and is offered free on purchases above $100).

For prime example, just bought this coat for the Mrs:
    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Kathmandu-Plateau-Womens-Merino-…

Down from $450 to $360 with above code. Sounds awesome right?, but:
    https://www.kathmandu.com.au/womens/jackets-and-vests/womens…

$270 delivered! (and you get free membership that is normally $10)

Another benefit other than cheaper pricing is if you buy off their official website you can get 30 days change of mind by visiting a store (handy if you aren't 100% on sizing).

I almost went for the above code, and I'm glad I didn't. Just double check before buying. Plus vote as it could be cheaper on other items though.

    • How's that jacket for cold weather, I need something for the mrs for an upcoming Iceland trip.

      • Can't tell you first hand as it hasn't been received yet, sorry.

But from the reviews it looks like it'll hack a Canberra winter… but Iceland??? I'm thinking thermals and some specifically designed winter gear ;).

I know Mrs was looking for something a little longer to give some warmth to the upper leg/hips as well, so that's why I went with this one, plus from all accounts its very versatile and can be dressed up or down. There's decent reviews on the Kathmandu site link above that seemed legit.

I'm not a fashionista but it seems like a decent looking coat without looking like a puffer jacket :).

    • Adding to that, you can't get member pricing on ebay store, even if you are a member.

But sometimes they do an epic sale which is for all, and the ebay site will have it for the same price (KMD don't tend to jack their ebay prices). Or a Winter sale which had same prices for all. If an ebay 10% off promo happened at the same time, you could get it cheaper there. There was even one time they participated in a 20% off selected sellers promo, but I never saw them in that ever again.

Yeah this really needs to be an EXTRA 20% off current discounts.

  • Sorry OP.

20% off Kathmandu is not far off double normal price.

  • Strange one, the "Pay Only…' part is showing a differt price and discount. I wonder if this is the actual price of the item and not a jacked up Kathmandu price.

    • Does changing colours/styles change the price?

Unusual that the buy it now price is $50, but the "show me how" window shows $20.

Either way I never press "Buy It Now" and always add to cart to double check pricing anyway.

      • The price doesn't change with the style selection, it's also happening on a couple of other items as well. Weird one.
If it was the price displaying under the 'Pay Only…' section I would have completed the transaction.

  • Not the cheapest they have ever been. They're usually discounted by much bigger than 20%.

  • It doesn't work on sale items?

    • No, works on the selected items only. That's a huge different

    • Worked on sale items for me.
