  As someone thinking of buying a unit and been wondering “how do I get furniture in there” I think this is a great idea. But as a cheap ozbargainer, seems too expensive.

      That's a bit harsh. It's a start up, maybe they had to increase prices to stay alive? Maybe overheads were more than expected. It is a big leap to calling them criminals and fraud. That's actually slanderous. You've got no proof of fraud, or of crimes being committed.

        Hi guys,

        We've increased our prices, yes! It's because we improved the product.

        It's really hard to get these things right from the get go.

        The fabric is now 100% Wool - and fully water repellant.

        We've also improved the joining units so that it's a whole lot easier to put together.

      I'm really sad to hear that you think our prices aren't great - the previous shipment wasn't nearly as premium (materials, construction).

      We've put a lot of work into our company and we hope you can see the value in our product (by the way - we design our own products whereas Koala uses a Fantastic Furniture design!)

  Agree seems expensive.. would expect 2 seater around the $600-700 mark and $900-950 for 3 seater.. doesn’t seem competitive, but there will always be buyers.

  Plugging a sofa into the mains seems like a fire waiting to happen. What safety standards are you compliant with?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the pricing feedback! We've priced ours at 1295 after exhaustive market research - and for the quality we provide, the price is very low - but it's always difficult when you don't have quite enough reviews online to justify it. There are a LOT of other companies (foam mattresses ahem) that offer a product that's worth way less (cost of sale), but that's not how we like to operate. Quality is king! - its the reason customers will come back.

    This is the most we can charge so that we stay in business to serve other customers in a year or 2 from now, and keep investing in improving our products with feedback like this :)

    Our product is compliant with AS/NZS 4417.1 (this is the particular standard that applies to this specific technology).

      Everyone claims to have a ‘quality’ product most are generic Chinese manufacturing you need to earn that reputation and trust by getting your product out there - it’s just as easy to price yourself out of business…

      • You may want to add the standards compliance to your FAQ - also the charging rates for the USB port (ports?) the description says port but picture appears to have multiple. The positioning under the couch seems a bit odd, would of thought in each armrest or behind the back would be more practical
      • What combined weight does each combination support this should be in FAQ
      • From 2 seater do you sell extension to go to 3 seater - ie you already have the side, buying a full 1 seater would be an expensive expansion
      • the mobile version of the website doesn’t let you see dimension for the non-3 seater models in the FAQ.. at least on Firefox for IOS.
      • Where is the product manufactured?
      • The grey colour swatch looks a completely different colour to the picture of the sofa

        Hi there!

        To answer your questions:

        • the standard USB compliance standards have been applied (so any device with a USB charger will use this same standard (AS/NZS 4417.1)

        • The weight-load maximum is around 150kgs per seating module (but can take more than an average sofa)

        • If you would like to buy an extra seat, have a look at the extra seat mod pack just below the shop page - these are $419 each - so a much better value option than buying a new armchair! You only need the seat module realistically.

        • We're looking into the firefox mobile issue

        • Have you received the fabric swatch yet? The fabric looks different just because it's a larger surface area - it's a bit of an optical illusion!
