Buying Sporting Event/s Tickets in USA

Hey all,

Travelling to the USA in late November and looking to go to a few sporting events, mainly NBA & NFL events. I found some places to buy tickets but I just didn't want to buy them and then get caught out somehow.

I have international roaming on my phone, so what I am hoping to do is buy the tickets now and be able to have some form of e-tickets to be able to access the games over there without issues. Anyone that has been recently able to recommend a good website/app to do this from where I won't get ripped off or have any issues using my mobile phone for the tickets? thanks in advance.

    I've used Stubhub for NBA and NHL games and had no issues.

    I've used the Ticketmaster resale site with no problems, might be best to just check the website of the team you want to see and use their own link to whatever site they use to sell tickets.

    I've used both Stubhub and seatgeek for NBA and NFL games

    I've used StubHub, Ticketmaster and Seat Geek with no problems.

      Thank you. I’ve used StubHub for some NFL tickets. Will check out the others for NBA and see if I can get a better deal.

    Used stubhub for nba no worries, but got onto a place called sportswhereiam. Aussie site that does the same thing but has some cool info about things to do and tips etc..

    Do tickets get any cheaper closer to game day? Looking at some pre-season NBA tickets for a weeks time - but not sure if I should buy now or wait a little bit longer.

      Possibly. StubHub is like an open market for sellers to sell tickets so it’s very likely.

      Definitely if you're able to wait long enough. They drop the prices otherwise they're going to waste. If you're close enough to the stadium you can buy them less than hour before and they should be cheaper

    I used TickPick earlier this year, easy with no issues
