Saw this today instore at my local Big W (Gateways Shopping Centre, WA) The Social Network 2 Disc Bluray is only $24.82, which is a discount from this week's catalogue which had the price at $28.82. Worth the upgrade because the DVD is 21.66, so the extra 3 bucks for HD is good.

Save 10 cents here, go to another store, save 90 cents, then you have one dollar. You take that dollar, go to the dollar store and you buy something else.

I think you watch too much of Russell Peters videos.

        • be a man, do the right thing!

I thought this was a terrible movie, just made me hate facebook and suckerburg even more.

    • Well considering only probably 40% of it is based on truth due to dramatic licence, I'm prepared to cut the kid a break.

I heard that it portrayed the dude too favorably, in which case, damn what a …

  • Great movie, especially if you truly understand the concept of the movie.

Who else misread title and thought this was a straight to dvd/bluray release of 'The Social Network 2'?

I was waiting for someone to point this out, I even looked at the cover to find 'The Social Network 2' written.

      • me too !! i googled it wondering when it was released lol

    • Me too. lol

    • 2? You mean a sequel or one dvd and one bluray?

      • I think you mean the dvd+bluray thing…. I never see the benefit of this, if you got bluray player, why the hell do you ever use the dvd, which exactly plays the same thing?

  • +1

im glad to see blurays come at this price.

    • I bought far too many DVDs and have decided not to start a bluray library. Glad that it is a good price for you though, not $40+ like others have been.

In the meantime, 1080p mkvs with my WDTV live have been kind to me :)

      • The moment you start collecting blurays, they start making redrays, then whiterays…
In the end old collections will turn to dust…

Browsing through my old vcds collection…

17 pounds on amazon.co.uk. which equates to about $23.50 (with removal of VAT).

if you were planning on ordering another DVD or Bluray or Book that pushed the order over 25 pounds then free shipping to Aus!

I would much rather support Amazon.co.uk who ALWAYS has lower prices than Big W who sometimes has cheap prices!

    • -2

TO further my argument - most people who purchase Blurays do buy more than one - so it is likely that people would qualify for free shipping.

      Here is the amazon product.

So you're going to neg me because you can save $1.30 by waiting a week for your product and buying another one?

        • Agree. Would rather pay $1.30 and get it at Big W

        • In general UK site is cheaper for dvd bluray books and games…

But for Aus, this is the best price…

    • And there goes your neg vote. You can't compare the price of an online store to a bricks and mortar store.
