What is the cheapest option for a device to only use for spotify, just want to download playlists on to it as my phone
(s6) has horrible battery life. It needs Bluetooth as i usually link to a Bluetooth speaker preferably less than 100 aud.

Get a Pocophone F1 for a huge upgrade for your S6 and solves your Spotify problem also.
Only if you do not need Band 28 and NFC though. Would love to upgrade from a phone with NFC to the Pocophone F1 if it had NFC. I use it on a regular basis that it is too hard to not have a phone without it.

You can buy a 20,000 mAh power bank which have been floating around for $30. That would be enough to charge a phone 6 times at least.
Otherwise you could buy a cheap used phone from eBay. Should be a lot of options under $100. If you're patient you can bid and find yourself a good deal. If all your goal is to run Spotify, you don't need anything that fancy.
i have an Xiaomi powerbank but i always forget at home and get stuck without a phone.
how about getting a new battery for your S6? they're about $13.
