Xiaomi Roidmi F8 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner $347.35 Delivered @ Gearbite eBay

180
POINTY

With the special coupon code, it brings the price down to the lowest it has been.

I've got one myself via the indigogo campaign. I've had it for around a week and it's great. I can't compare it to other stick vacs as this is my first, but it is comparable to a no-brand corded vacuum, but doesn't do as well as a 20 year old Rainbow vacuum system that still gets used from time to time.

The 55 minute run-time is accurate with the motorised head, however, it only applies to its lowest "normal" setting. There are three "normal" settings - 80W, 130W and 180W. You get around 55, 33 and 26 minute run-time respectively. I find that the 80W mode is only good for hardwood floors. You really need to set it to 130W or 180W when using it with carpets. If you intend to use this mostly on carpet, then the real run-time on this unit is at least 33 minutes. This then makes it comparable to the V8 using its motorised head. The 40 minutes it claims are when using the other extensions and not using the floor/motorised tool.

Note: Reposted this deal as the previous deal had a one-time use code, that's why it was unpublished.

lol, I'm a bit ceebs to do a TL;DR again (the previous posting got unpublished, and so did those comments haha). So I guess you can read the "Wrap Up" at the end of the comparison above.

Dyson V8 wins for sure if you already have one: better material, bigger bin, better suction technology in the long run

Wrote a comparison on my blog (don't think I'm allowed to pass the URL here) but you can Google it, it's on the first page somewhere

      • don't think I'm allowed to pass the URL here

Why not? Aslong as it's not some paid blog/paywall.

      • That shaft though… scratches so easily.

You can't plug links to websites that you own here on Ozbargain (this bargain node hasn't been set with your store domain.

See store rep code of conduct

        • Ah, cheers, sorry for that. Will remember that for next time!

        • What's the reason behind that? He was specifically posting a comparison review of the two.

        • @Skinnerr:

Lyon is tagged as a store rep for his review site, which he runs competitons on. As a rep, you cannot post links to websites (regardless of whether it is a review site, a social media page or an ecommmerce site) on a competitors deal post.

To simplify it: you represent a company, you can't talk or plug about your company on a deal post that isn't about your company.

        • @scrimshaw: Fair enough, thanks.

  • Hey, when is this ending, do you know? I cant use the coupon. just want to make sure this is still working.

better spend your money on Dyson plus the warranty.

  • Dyson wins over this pricewise & after sales support & warranty

  • Good to see this seller is including the anti-mite mini motorized brush (currently $70 on special at Gearbest) and the flexible hose. These are normally optional extras.

Wife prefers this to Dyson V8 or V10 because it is a lot lighter.

  • Sold out now. This one has a US plug, but what the hey….bought one anyway. Thanks OP.
