Yeah they're based in Hong Kong, but to be honest I bought two pairs of adidas sunglasses from them last year and they were fine. I can tell you they're genuine and they're quite helpful too. Perhaps I'm just lucky or that they sell a mix of real and fakes. So I guess you'd be taking chances depending on which brand you're after.
Can you tell us how you determined they were genuine?
Good question. I was in Taiwan at the end of last year and went to check out their adidas stores to pick up some gear. They were selling some sunglasses and I spotted one of my pairs (adidas A163, matte brown to be exact). I had a good look at it along with other models. It had the same labels/stickers on the lenses and I can replace the nose pad with the RX lens insert.
So yeah I thought if it were fake it would've felt cheaper, have imitation imperfections and wouldn't have gone that far to duplicate the prescription lens compatibility IMHO.
