The usual:
- No support
- No upgrades
- Need to register the software during the give away period.

They're not the latest version (but there isn't much different in the latest version so these are still good).

Thanks OP. I'm way too cheap for Adobe's Creative Suite, & have been looking for a cheap way to convert & edit Panasonic RAW (RW2) photos - SilkyPix sucks. PhotoDirector 8 looks like it fits the bill perfectly.

Used a throw away email and its already getting spammed like crazy.
It tries to install nagware (Avoid by sayng no to first question)
Shitty software with 90s graphics(pay to upgrade)
Wont even import MP4 files.(pay to upgrade)Removing now
No spam here. No issues with MP4's from my go pro.
90's grapics???All I can say is when I opened .MOV no problem but when I tried to drag .MP4 from files from my dashcam to the time line I got the message was that I needed to upgrade to use this feature. This tells me this is not just an older version but crippleware.
90s graphics I'm referring to a the bundled backgrounds and text overlays were pretty ugly.
My spam folder intake went from 2-3 a day to about 10 within an hour of download. Could be coincidence but given the attempt to install nag-ware it seems to follow the style.I'm happy to install older software with the hope to upgrade but not crippleware.
I just installed from the links and keys listed above. During install I clicked Later instead of putting in email.
Definitely reads MP4s and MOVs. No spam received.However - note that PhotoDirector is missing the entire Layers tab which means it is missing quite a bit of functionality. The tab does appear if I use different "free offer" license keys, but then it nags for a paid upgrade.
Hmm, other "advanced" features like Face Replacement do seem to be working. These usually nag for payment with different license keys.
