    Thanks, work for Spider-Man, saved a $1.

    • cant find the spiderman any more

      • It was insufficient quality. They had 30, and only 5 when posted up here.

Seller accepted an offer early today for $40 for 3. Lucky buyer.

        • wow

Made a purchase of $3.6k on the night of the 3% cashback still haven't gotten the cashback notification yet :/, perhaps CR doesn't credit high purchase prices maybe.

    • +1

I purchased at 1% like 10 mins before it went live, and got my receipt at 3:06pm today. My purchase was $1.5k for reference, so yours would still be on the way.

      • Fair enough, usually though they are almost instant, perhaps the delay is due to the large influx of orders recently

        • +1

Hi paraneoplastic. eBay has never reported instantly. At best it’s around 36-48 hours, but can take longer.

          @tightarse:

All good mate, came through :) Nice little bonus on a 3.6K purchase.

  • +1

    Dang, $2k yesterday, oh well.

    • You buy a ring?

      • Trailer. Didn't get the ring off eBay, but it wasn't much more :)

        • Always wondered why men don't go second hand for the rock. It's not like buying a car where buying new provides lemon protection. Diamonds are intrinsically worthless - much worse than the high yielding sports car purchased by one of our fellow Ozbargainers. One company pretty much has a monopoly on the global diamond supply, allowing itself to create artificial supply constraints to give the dumb illusion of scarcity. Ever tried selling a diamond? It's hard, there's no (profanity) market liquidity.

  • I'm waiting for eBay birthday specials

    • Thanks for letting us know.

  • Any chance they could bump this to 3% again?

  • Does it work with the TAKE15/TAKE20 ebay codes?

    • Hi demiurge. Yes it will. See my response here.

    • +3

An extra 1% is double mate… and if it weren't for cash-back programs not as if you would magically get money back for purchasing from eBay anyway ….

In my opinion it's an added bonus, even if it does take 2 months or so…

      • +2

This is 200% of the usual cash back! It's huge!

    • +1

Are you sure double is not a step in the right direction?

  • -4

I don’t have any idea about others, but to me this “Cashrewards” is a scam to me from my experience. I have not gotten back one dollar from them. I am not going to pursue them but I thought I needed to share my experience. Please be careful.

Works for me and everyone else here… are you clicking on the cashrewards link before purchasing?

      • Yes, I followed everything that was suggested. I am not sure why it didn’t work for me. It is good to know that it is working for others.

    • +3

Wrong.. I got hundreds back over the years which I wouldn't have if I just shop direct on the site

    • +6

Everyone meaning you? You brought TA into this. No one else did.

Hmm your last 3 votes are a neg on Cashrewards. I guess you really do a have a thing for him :)

      • +1

        probably works for shopback

    • +7

TA/CR fap fest? What are you on about?
Cashrewards is money that you get that you would have otherwise missed out on if you directly shopped with eBay.
That's what I call saving even more. That is bargain material.
      Invalid neg.

Too right MathNerd. I recently accumulated and transferred into my account a total $149 with Cash Rewards. I have only been using it for about 6 months. It’s $149 that I would otherwise not have if it wasn’t for Cash Rewards. All I have to do is click “activate now” on my Chrome browser add on and then wait for the funds to be cleared. They are gifting me the money, I’m not going to complain if it takes 2-3 months to clear.

I have nothing against CR as a whole, they have some great cashback on other sites, I just don't feel that a saving so small is something to get excited about, especially when it was more 48% hours earlier.

    • +1

Double the saving is not bargain material? Is that a fact?

  • +5

I am very surprised that anyone on OzB dislikes CR's.
I Use their 5% off woolies gift cards for fuel, groceries, and Dans where I also get CR's rebates. They have special offers for ebay, Dans etc. making them even more worthwhile.
Anyone who thinks that saving up money is a fast process are kidding themselves, but it's acheivable if you have a healthy respect for money and just chip away at it little by little.

  • Other than ebay other purchases are hit and miss
If you want to get refer a friend bonus need to spend time which is not worth it
