I agree. nice graphics and well-designed mechanics. Lots of fun for $10. I paid like 25 a year ago, and no regrets.
Reading some reviews. All seem to agree that this is a frustrating game. That's what stopping me to pull the trigger.
Depends what difficulty you use I guess. I’m never going to be able to get the achievement that’s something like “finish it within an hour with no deaths on hard mode” but it’s a good puzzle game with great graphics and music
The save and death system is flexible, and you can keep it as punishing or forgiving as suits you. Loved the exploration, but didn't enjoy the timed escape sequences. I'm finally ready to admit that I'm really bad at platformers (over 600 deaths in Ori, and currently extremely frustrated by Hollow Knight) but I enjoyed Ori. Story tries so hard but fails, though.
Just started playing on xbox yesterday. Very impressed so far.
Good game, keen for the sequel
