Do you think it is worth it for the prices in Australia? if so which plan is the best to get? 3,6 or 12?

Personally not worth it for me, I have so many steam games and console games I need to get back to playing before I start getting a whole heap more. I also find that while theres some nice games in the monthly I usually don't play them, so it ends up being cheaper for me to just buy a game I want when I feel like playing it, instead of spending on the monthly for a whole heap of games that are kool but I'll never ever play.
Still though, I imagine if you have a fairly empty Steam list, and more free time to play, it would probably be good for a while to beef up your library.
I see. Do you think it would be wiser to buy the individual months when they come? in the longrun that would be more expensive than a subscription but I'd get to choose what games to buy.
Problem is that I want to play games, I just don't know what to play :/. I have a few games on my backlog but most of them don't really appeal to me as they are mostly MP and I can't play MP games 99% of the time. So even though I have so much time to play games I can only really play singleplayer ones which is where humble monthly came to mind as most of the humble monthly games are SP from what I've seen. You should check gameplay videos of individual games in the bundle and see if its your thing. Adds to the clutter otherwise IMO.
What I did was get the yearly subscription and just pause the months where the initial offerings don't look like something I'd want. As @chillbro said, it's worth waiting for one of their specials before actually signing up.
I think it's great. There's usually something I was after included every month (and that has to be difficult considering I have 900+ games on Steam!). The 10% discount on their store is handy as well. Haven't changed off the month-to-month plan yet, but probably should considering I plan on keeping it.
Not worth it for me. The biggest risk to the subscription is they give a game I already have in my library or headline with a game I have no interest in and hence won't touch.
I only use a month to month subscription based on my interest on the main game that is revealed that I would get. The way I see it, any other games I get are a bonus but I'll unlikely touch them anyway.
If you're going to get the 12 monthly plan, wait until they offer $30 credit on top before signing up.
Not really for me but mainly because I missed the earlier ones so it feels incomplete to me like watching a tv series from the halfway point and not starting from the beginning.
Some games have been really good deals like conan exiles but usually 1/3 or even 2/3 games are trash or just backlog binned for me :(
Worth mentioning I have an ADSL2+ connection and my PC specs are i5-4460, 8GB and RX480 8GB (Reference). Some games run like absolute shit on my PC for some reason (Fallout 4, GTA V etc) but most games are fine once I turn down a few settings which I'm perfectly fine with.
