There doesn't appear to be stock in Sydney at Spotlight however Bing Lee appears to be well stocked. Not sure if they'll price match.
For some reason the stock check applet doesn't appear on the mobile site.
I’ve got a Tefal Pro Express Total, which at the time was a $700 iron.
I’ve gotta say, I’m not that impressed.
All the reviews were positive, but I certainly don’t see an improvement over a regular iron.
I think people try to justify their spend.
Also the steam iron spat so much steam out, that it condenses on the ironing board frame and drips everywhere. The board then strayed to rust underneath. It’s an absolute shit show.
I tried all of the “tips”, like putting aluminium foil under the cover, but nothing worked.
I ended up buying a $150 Phillips ironing board, and a special ironing board cover for another $80.
I’m like, nearly up to a grand in ironing shit, and it’s no better than a $40 normal iron.
Plus, I now work close to a dry cleaners, and can get five shirts washed and ironed for $12.
The return on this iron just isn’t there … add my time in to the mix and it’s an absolute waste of money.
Buyer beware.
you should write memoirs! I will buy the book
Tefal Actis Plus GV6350 I paid $60 on Amazon AU. Gotta love what these stores call a bargain.
Its a decent price still compared to bricks and mortar stores which are over 200 from memory.the amazon deal was nuts
Yeah, this is extremely expensive for what is the basic version of a steam generator. I've got the top of the line one and think it's pretty amazing. Worth $700? No way. Worth the $220 that I paid for it at the same time the above cheaper version was on sale at Amazon? Yes.
This is so not "extremely expensive", if someone didnt want to wait 3-6 months for a better deal its probably fair.
Also the arguement could be made that the 700 dollar one that you bought for 220 doesnt actually give you anything of practical value over this model which works absolutely fine.
I have these and it works really well. Bought it off Gumtree from someone for $30. One of the best purchase I had.
I have ome and its great, saved me heaps of time and gave a better result than the Braun iron I have. Not sure how people arent saving time with how much steam these push out. Takes up more space when packed away but that was the only detraction for me. Sometimes it drips water for a bit before it reaches full temperature which can slow you down but it wasnt often, and also the steam condenses but its not a big deal, just be aware if you are ironing over wood floors I guess
Is this available in store?
