    15

    • It definitely says 14 on the back of the boxset for this version. I think the US version may have had 15 (North by Northwest was the extra one).

      For the first time on Blu-Ray 14 acclaimed masterpieces;
      Saboteur,
      Shadow of a Doubt,
      Rope,
      Rear Window,
      The Trouble with Harry,
The Man Who Knew Too Much,
      Vertigo,
      Psycho,
      The Birds,
      Marnie,
      Torn Curtain,
      Topaz,
      Frenzy,
      Family Plot

      • Damn, that's annoying for those who didn't get the US version previously. North by Northwest was one of the best…

Already have it or I would definitely buy it - it's an absolute bargain at that price. The movies are mostly digitally remastered and look superb - try The Rear Window and you'll be blown away. Highly recommended.

  • Also Universal Classic Monsters, A$27.49

worth it for Bride of Frakenstein alone.

    • That's a great box set I loved Creature From The Black Lagoon.

  • Never purchased anything from Zavvi before but will have to now that Amazon UK/US no longer ship here.

How long is the delivery and is it well packaged?
Reviews all say zero customer service when items arrive damaged or missing?

I ordered the Battlestar Galactica Boxset a few years ago from them and it was pretty quick delivery from memory and arrived in perfect condition. Fingers crossed nothing has changed.

    • It’s been a bit for me - but they can be fast. But not always.
Well packaged is a little bit hit and miss also. Amazon is much better packaged typically.

    • Their prices are cheaper but you pay for that in poor packaging (I've had 3-4 items arrive damaged one even looked as if it had been used as the office football) and ordinary customer service.

I should add I haven't place any orders with them since 2017 because they're just too hit and miss.

These should have been free now if copyright law hadn't changed to benefit greedy corporations and shaft everyone else right?

It's not like the creators of the work are receiving the benefits anymore which was the point of copyright originally.

Who's going to pay for the restoration and rescan/remastering? Pressing of discs and packaging? Ownership probably in an estate controlled by Hitchcock's family or something.

      • Well I'd say the studios would be the ones who own it more likely.

  • I hope that my order doesn't come damaged! Ordered this for a Christmas present for my brother who has ASD and is super into collecting blurays & dvds. He'll die slightly on the inside if its bent
