      Yes.

valid until the expiry date (6 April 2011)

  • Any other conditions such as 'can't be used on Saturday after 5PM' or similar? Seen alot of these here lately.

    • +4

Not as far as I can tell, the T&C's are there and I didn't see anything like that

  • Just bought 4, much better price than usual!

  • Excellent :)

Good price, but the catch is, of course, that these expire in April and all the big movies come out in May and June.

Here are the films released during the validity period of these tickets:

24 Feb 2011 - Conviction, I Am Number Four, Season of the Witch, The Way Back
03 Mar 2011 - Hall Pass, Shelter, The Adjustment Bureau, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest, Wasted on the Young
10 Mar 2011 - Rango, The Company Men, The Rite
17 Mar 2011 - A Heartbeat Away, Battle: Los Angeles, Limitless, The Reef
24 Mar 2011 - Barney's Version, Biutiful, Red Riding Hood, The Mechanic, The Roommate, Waiting for Superman
31 Mar 2011 - In A Better World, Just Go With It, Never Let Me Go, Oceans, The Lincoln Lawyer

If you wanted to see these (or currently showing films) it is good value.

    • Whered you find that info. Ahh in any case the only movie I have an eye out for is Captain America, and that will probably be pushed from its july release.

Save yourselves the $7 and skip I Am Number Four

      • I saw the trailer for that. Looked almost as bad as 'Red Riding Hood'!

      • +1, went to an advanced screening, it was an absolutely pathetic movie. Though I got my ticket for free, so can't really complain :)

I liked it … to each his own I guess or whatever that saying is!!

    • any of these 3D? I've got a pass to use before the end of March and am curious!

    • Hmm few decent looking movies: The Rite, Battle:LA… possibly The Lincoln Lawyer - the book was great.

  • Nice! Shame about the lack of decent movies though. 'Paul' (Simon Pegg) is the only one I want to see atm (already out in the UK of course) and that's not out till 1 week after the tickets expire :( I think Hoyts is just trying to make some easy money during the dull period

  • How much is the upgrade fee for 3D movies, anyone know?

    • $2.50 i think, excluding glasses.

      • Yup, something very close to that. No more than $3 anyway

      • Cheers to you both :) works out to be a pretty good deal!

        • Just confirming, it is $2.50 for the upgrade and $1 to purchase glasses if you need them :)

  • I bought 2, then closed the browser.
Will they email me the tickets? Or have I screwed it up by not clicking 'Downloa your tickets' from the receipt window…
EDIT: Sigh just got it. Cheers dude.

    Great deal.

    • +1

    • +4

      • +5

        typo.
        Actually just bought 2.

  • Nice! Bought 8 as, with the better half, there's at least 4 good movies out now that rate in the IMDB top 250:
    - Black Swan (2010)
    - The King's Speech (2010)
    - True Grit (2010)
    - The Fighter (2010)

  • Its good to be in Brisbane now and able to use these cheap tickets.

  • how come the link doesn't work anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
