    I have been buying the smallest Bluetooth speakers I can find for some time now.

    This one wouldn't pair properly but it does say "Welcome to Altec Lansing" every time you do something which isn't annoying at all when you're attempting to make it work. Never did get it to pair with anything.

    My current long time favourite is the Logitech X50.

    I purchased one of these mainly to take phone calls with in the car and it's great, one button to accept a call, one to hang up, very easy. Great to stream to for sports radio etc and the quality is surprising, but still what you would expect.

    PROS
    Outdoor-friendly design is waterproof, soundproof, and floats in water. Inexpensive.

    CONS
    Weak audio performance. Mediocre battery life.

    BOTTOM LINE
    The Altec Lansing Mini H2O can float in the pool and survive being dropped—but its audio performance is not great.

      I got it delivered today, connection well, never drop out, sound very nice compare to the size, two drivers stereo. Thumb up from me, i used to have logitech X100 but prefer this one as i can take it with me in bathroom and regardless reviews lol

    Got mine Friday (red ones.)
    Problem is, it's the wrong thing. (I've only opened 1 so far.)
    There are (at least) two different versions - the H20 2 (IMW257) and the H20 3 (IMW258.)

    The 257 is one driver only and no double-pairing, so what I was alluding to further up unfortunately turned out to be correct!
    The Kogan page has the spec's/manual of the 258.

    Frogprince7 - which did you get?
    PJC - sorry to get you worried again, wonder which one you will get.

    Not sure if it's worth trying to sort this out with Kogan…

      Oh dear. Thanks for the information and I'm sorry you received what you did. Mine should arrive Tuesday. I don't know why such a company would make anything mono nowadays. I have taken a screenshot of the specs on Kogan's page in case they amend it. I'm rather likely to demand a refund.

      Just went to the support page to tell them about it.
      It has a drop down where you can search for your product name - it came up with this: Altec Lansing Mini H20 'Everything Proof' Bluetooth Speaker - Red [ALT-IMW257-DR]

      Oh, I just found ALT-IMW257-DR at the bottom right of the product page - if only they would make it part of the specification!

        I received what you got, but my wife will mainly use it for spoken word recordings, so we'll keep it because it is still good value.

      Yeah I can confirm I also got the Mono Version. One active speaker and one passive radiator. Still good value.
