  • Thanks swyber some very good deals in there.

Still does not beat everyday $5 value range but pretty good if you craving something different.

I usually value the 1.25L drinks at around $1-2 and the garlic bread at around $1-3 so it is definitely very decent value especially if you are out and about.

    • Yeah the drinks and garlic bread vouchers will come in handy.

why arent you always logged in?

    • It surely must be - any time I have called them up to place a pickup order and quoted a discount code over the phone, they have entered the code in their system and have not asked me to produce the actual voucher when picking up.

    • +1

      Yes phone is fine

    • No bother if you prefer phone, but curious as to why you prefer that over ordering online?

  • Chicken 5 pack and 10 pack?

I bet the Colonel has something to say about that.

    What happened to domino's pricing?

Even with their vouchers, they are now more expensive than my local Italian-owned & run vastly superior pizza place.

I mean, a $4.50 discount voucher for a cheesy garlic bread pickup? They were like 2 for $5 on a regular basis about a year ago. A voucher for $24 for a couple of their laughably small sized "large" pizzas and a 95cent shwepps fizzy drink? Wut?

    • +4

Yeah their 'large'pizzas are only 10 inches I believe, or 31% smaller than a proper sized 12 inch large pizza. So their $7.95 pizza is on par with an $11.45 large pizza from a proper pizza shop. And I know which one I'd choose

    • +4

I think it's part of their strategy. Deep discounts until they push out Pizza Hut and other chains, now gradually bring the prices up. If your local is better and cheaper, definitely go there instead. Maybe the cycle can repeat itself ;)

  • +1

We eat pizza about 3-4 times a year and only when the pizza's are 50% off (That;s what I think they are worth)

    • The cardboard box the pizza comes in tastes better.

      • +8

        Bet you it doesn't.

      • It's healthier though, so eat the box and throw away the pizza? I mean you're still getting some flavour residue so it's win-win really.

Nah in all seriousness, I often get their prawn pizza, their Godfather and Hawaiian are always good, with the thin and crispy base means it's more guilt free and easier to burn off the calories. They have definitely upped their game at my local, so these are pretty decent deals.

        • +2

I have pretty high standards for pizza so I was amazed that the thin-and-crispy Godfather I tried was actually good. Still haven't been back but I was impressed.

        • I think you should go and check the calorie difference between the 3 bases

    Thickshake happy hour $3.95

That's weird - there's a code that works at most stores (with a longer expiry) for only $2.95; 3-5pm

    • +2

Yeah & on top of that, $3.95 is the standard price of them listed at my local Domino's until 5pm, too, when they then go up in price.

    • Amazing value if you can get them for $2.95! Which ones have you tried?

      • +1

As in which stores, which codes or which flavours?

Btw I don't price them at $5.95 because while that's their RRP they are almost never that price.

        • Flavours. Obviously I’m slightly biased, but I big fan of the coffee one.

        • @swyber: I've tried all of them except the plain one - the mocha one and the Choc Malt one are the best.

        • @pennypincher98: agreed. Any flavour you’d want to see us try out in the future?

        • @swyber: something like Oreos or cookies and cream would be great :D
          Possibly also a choc mint?

        • +1

@pennypincher98: yeah, people are keen for choc mint. Hopefully it’ll be at least an LTO in the future.

        • @swyber: salted caramel?

        • @swyber:

Why isn't the Espresso and the Mocha Thick Shake not available in New South Wales?

  • +1

Thanks, ordered a malt thickshake. It tastes great but it's destroying my stomach

Are these Domino's deals Scab approved?

  • One voucher per order?

  • Are the new York pizzas worth approx double a premium/traditional large?

    Thanks OP
