However, please note that there isn't any mention about PD charging on this cable.

Line 3 of features dot point 1.

Supports 3A current charging, compatible with qc, pd charge agreement. Charge your type-c device fast and safe.

    • thanks! updated OP

    • Although:

      Output: 5V3A

      • Consider P = I².R

        • What does that have to do with the output specs not matching PD output specs?

  • The components looked the same as Blitzwolf's.

MantisTek and BlitzWolf are brands both owned by Banggood. That's why they're practically the same.

    • So what’s the difference? How do they compare?

      • The only difference you're going to find is build quality. Hard to say without seeing them both first hand but I think they'd both be quality either way.

        • Ah ok, fair enough.

I thought it might have been one of those situations where one brand is built to a higher cost and standard to sell as the higher quality brand, while the other is built cheaper to be their budget brand.

@caprimulgus: Considering the price of this and the way the connectors are shaped I think the MantisTek cable might be less durable.

From a quick browse of the descriptions of both, the Blitzwolf claims to have "bulletproof strength fibres" internally.

      • The MantisTek is not benson-approved.

  • Thanks, needed one!
