Hi all,
so I have a 1GB MP4 continuous 1hr video recording that is too large for Facebook or to email or for anyone to download from google drive etc.
The video has copyrighted songs which are used as a soundtrack for some of the video.
I want to share the video with family overseas privately rather than AusPost-ing a burnt DVD.
So far I have uploaded it to YouTube but is too long (1hr) and so my YouTube account is now being "verified" to allow longer videos. This will possibly get a copyright strike because of the music. Possibly multiple strikes because of the number of songs.
In the past for smaller videos I've used wetransfer.com and emailed a download link which I could do here, but the link would only be available for 7 days, whereas I want this link to be permanently available but privately.
A streaming link would be best.
So is there another acceptable and simple method I can use ?
I'm not sure my family are going to want to sign up to obscure websites and even pay for a service.
Or should I persevere with YouTube.
Thanks in advance.
PS I have googled "free streaming websites" but haven't come across an appropriate one as yet.
EDIT: Perseverence paid off - YouTube Private has worked - and I'm able to email the link to overseas members.
Thanks everyone for your suggestions below.
Try OneDrive, most videos can be played in the browser.
