Great price. If you’re getting this for the online multiplayer, just keep in mind you may struggle to find a decent lobby in any of the game modes other than TDM and Dom. SnD is usually better during the weekend, however game modes like Hardpoint and CTF are a pain to find a lobby in.

    • Yeah I know, total shame. The only COD that clicked with me in the last few year. Don’t like the sci fi jet pack ones with wall hack perks etc.

      • I personally enjoyed the previous jet pack games as well, but yes, each to their own. The things I didn't like was the supply drop system and stat-changing weapon variants.

I'm really happy how SH Games handled this years system, as you can unlock most weapons/uniforms through daily 'contracts' or weekly challenges. Even DLC weapons can be unlocked with your armoury credit during community events. It's great to see weapon variants were limited to cosmetic changes only. Hopefully Treyarch can continue something similar in BO4.

      • Tbh I quite enjoyed Black Ops 3. Unpopular opinion maybe.

      The campaign is excellent

    • I used to have this problem until I got the season pass. I now rarely get anything other than a green ping. YMMV though.

      • Is that right? Most people have migrated to the dlc pool? Interesting, will give the game more longevity. Can’t say I feel like updating to this years iteration. Next year Modern Warefare 4 fingers crosssed.

  • Playing the single player, got up to the shitty tank mission with shitty controls, can't get past it :(

If I was gonna get it for pure single player mode, do you think it's worth it?

      • kinda, it is a bit short

      • It's similar to BF1 but the zombies is a good bonus and def worth the money without having to get PS membership/online

      • IMHO - compare to the old COD, the missions were rather short and dumbed down, and the scale of the battle are much smaller, and lots of QTEs, so if you are looking for the old COD/COD2/WAW experience, you can probably skip it.

Yes definitely worth it. I did not enjoy many of the single player modes in recent releases but this one is fantastic and well worth the $20.

      • Thanks for the feedback guys. Might give it ago :)

    • Huge pain in the ass but keep trying, took me a couple days haha.

Thanks Op just bought the pc version. Here's hoping it's got as great a soundtrack as Infinite Warfare.

  • in my opinion this is the best CoD in years, played the Black Ops 4 Beta over the weekend and it was a bit lame in comparison.
So will continue to play this one till MP dies out, but I mostly play TDM anyway or 24/7 shipment

    • Good god, not one of the shipment guys! But yes, best COD since MW2.

    Nice Find OP :)

Damn I wish the PC version was same price

  • Does the zombies have a lot of content? I was after some couch co-op but my prime expired a day ago.

Price dropped for FIFA 18 PS4 too $14.99

    • Dead game come 25th September.

  • Shipping is free with Prime, don’t need to spend a minimum $49.

    • Yes you are correct that shipping is free with prime, but people without prime have to spend a minimum of $49 to get free shipping.

Thanks OP. I ordered one for PS4

This or Call of Duty Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles? For a first timer foray to CoD

    • +2

First time? This one as it all makes sense as the weapons and gadgets work like you’d expect them. Makes it easier not having to learn made up sci-fi ones.
