I got the 65P6US for 1280 delivered with the $200 gift card. Really happy with it. Uni body like metal design (apart from the plastic for the ports and components of the tv)
Great picture and awesome for gaming. Sound is good but no bass at all but you kinda expect that. But I already had a sound system to use with it. I would buy again and I recommend it.
How is the picture when watching SD free to air content?
I actually haven't played any free to air content. I've been meaning to get a new cable that's also powered.
But I've been watching non stop Netflix, Stan. And been playing Nintendo switch and PC. PC on 4k
@H4ydos: what is the input lag like?
I am getting a 65P4US soon scored it for roughly half what you paid.. no idea what the differences are though but the specs all seemed alright to me
@AlienC: the response time is great. Feels really good.
It has a game mode setting on the 65P6US but with it on or off I didn't notice any difference.
I don't know the TCL other than by reputation, but the Android OS would sway me their way.
I have a Sony with Android and a Hisense N7 that doesn't and I love being able to stream movies directly to the Sony. I have a Chromecast on the N7 and whilst it's good, it's not quite the same as native support…
what do you use to stream movies directly to the TCL android TV? Plex from NAS? or u talking about NETFLIX etc?
Thanks Guys for your reply. I'll pitch this one to my wife and hope for approval :)
Good luck bro!
I have it. Got it for about $1050 after the $200 gift card promo they were running at the time and cash rewards.
Cheap budget TV, picture quality is good. Fast boot doesn't work all the time so can be slow to boot up sometimes.
Is it worth paying $600 extra for the Hisense? Nah. I use this in the bedroom and for the price I am happy with it.
Seems to be $1600.75 Delivered @ Appliance Central eBay with PENNY5?
Checked half an hour ago and this was still sitting at $18xx. Great price, worthy of a separate deal. :)
PS: they don't ship to WA though.

Thanks Ozbargainers, bought one last Sunday for $1938, just got a $250 refund from Harvey Norman.
I'm curious. So how would a conversation like that go exactly?
"Hi, I bought this TV from you a few days ago, but JB is offering it for $250 less today. Can I get a refund of $250? If not, can I return it?"
I'm too chicken to ask these things. Maybe there's a better way to ask or something?
Hate it that Harvey Norman doesn't accept returns so easily. They don't accept based on change-of-mind.
anyone know the main difference between this and the 65P4US I cannot seem to find anything different but other more first hand and second hand knowledge worthy users might know.
Is this better or worse than the N7?
I didn’t like the shadowing effect from the N7 in store.
