Insane price for a gtx 1060, although it's only the 3gb, this is only slightly more than a 1050ti in terms of price.
For people saying the 20 series will be announced in a few days, yes that is true but the GTX2060 will be released about a month after the RTX2080 (werid name btw nvidia). Plus, you will have to wait about 2 months for price to come down. So if you need something now, this is a good option.

Not really that insane I have my 1060 3GB cheaper.
Also as I remember some said that better buy dual fan model.
This maybe a better option for some as it comes with 4Gb's of ram and is a little faster.

GT 1060 6GB is as its also clocked faster and has more cores then GT 1060 3GB.
GT 1060 3GB is slower and competes with the RX570

Look at what happened to the GT 1030
They released a new model called the GT 1030 and sell for the same price but its 60% slower more then half the performance lol like what the hell .. Nvidia are scumbag crooks.
More ram does not mean it's faster at all.
Power/Performance Nvidia is in front, no matter what range cards your buying.
1060 has 12% more performance than an RX 570.
The 1060 also costs around 16% more though. And this article linked below shows the 1060 3gb only being an average of 4% faster than the 570.

Bought a used Gigabytes 1060 3gb + used 16gb ram for $200 off Gumtree late last year and havent looked back lol.

Not good enough with the 20 series imminent and all the architectural updates alongside that. I wouldn't even pay this for a 6GB model right now (assuming you can afford to wait).

At a (reasonable) guess, it'll be $380-$430. The 2070, and 2080 will be a little beefier than usual, but they'll have more bells and whistles than usual with AI and RT cores.
You need 4gb ram to play pubg above 60 fps on medium settings. The price needs to come down lower for this to be worth getting.
