You will continue to control your music and view song/artist information from your Bluetooth-enabled device. Volume can be controlled from the G2 speaker. A Travelling Hands-Free Speakerphone: Smartphones have so many apps and music options these days, it's easy to forget their primary function — making and taking calls. The Cambridge Audio G2 can help here. With a built-in microphone the G2 can be used to answer and make phone calls from your connected device. Rather than toggling back to your phone's lower-quality speaker, simply hit the flashing "phone" button and use the G2 as a speakerphone. You'll be able to hear the person on the other end clearly, and the G2's built-in microphone lets you talk back to them with ease. Ideal for a quick conference calls, or hands-free calls when cooking!
Dual-Mode: It is possible to synchronise two G2 speakers together so that both will play back your music simultaneously. The two G2 speakers must be within about 10 metres of each other.
Aux Input: The Cambridge Audio G2 Bluetooth portable speaker is fitted with a 3.5mm auxiliary input for connecting a non-Bluetooth portable device with a headphone jack or analogue audio output.
USB Charging Port: You can use the convenient USB type-A port (5V/1A) to charge your smartphone or MP3 player from the G2's own battery on the move, or when it's connected to AC power at home.
Rechargeable Battery: The G2 uses a high capacity lithium-ion battery that can play for up to 10 hours from a single charge. In addition, the G2 uses intelligent battery management software to optimise life and minimise charging time. The included AC power adapter is used to charge the G2's battery, as well as supply power to the portable speaker system. The G2's battery should be charged for 4 hours before initial use.
Low Battery Indicator + Auto Power Down: A flashing red LED indicates that the battery is too low and the G2 will enter a standby mode where no music can be played. This LED will continue flashing for 10 minutes after which the G2 will turn off. To save power, the G2 will automatically turn off after approximately 30 minutes if no music is playing.

I have this exact unit. Bought it direct from the UK a couple years ago. Terrific sound out of a little box, but the battery is shait. I can only use mine connected to AC power these days… which limits the intended use.
For $170 delivered its not bad pricing so plus vote, but I'd look around for alternatives based on the battery performance after a few years.
