Beat me by 49 seconds. And my post was more complete than yours :(

    • +5

I wish I was this lucky in Catch of the Day sales. :)

    • If you still have it copy the extra information you had in this post.

  • I thought it was an actual ps3 for $60

    • +3

      Lol

  • i almost wish i needed another remote control with these prices…

  • +5

whereas i got desensitised on these logitechshop sales…for past sales, i didnt feel any urge to spend money …i remember when they 1st have sales (a yr or two back), as a poor student i been spending all my part time hard earnt money on them..

  • +4

1100i price is insane. bugger getting my leaky roof fixed.

  • damm logitech, make the prices more lower to what it was before lol

    but before
    600 - $33
    650 - $55

    now
    600 - $30
    650 - $50

how do they get it so cheap, keep up the good work! then everyone will buy from them hehe

    • +1

They're from fluidtek… which are platinum partners of logitech… which means they're more or less able to get them cheaper than a wholesale price (they are the distributors lol)

      • The 300 is cheaper on the fluidek site for $20.
Wonder why the special sale price is more expensive.

        • +2

fluidtek is instore only… im guessing they are factoring in postage on some level

    • Damm. I got harmony 600 for 35 :( from logitech shop and I was sure, prices can never go down than that.

  • what is the diff between 600 and 650?

    thanks

    • 650 has a colour screen

      • thanks, I'll get the 600 then.

  • i'm sooo pissed off - i bought a harmony one from dick smiths yesterday for $180 after looking at the logitech online shop for two days and seeing they had no remotes. I'm annoyed to the max. dont think i could be bothered repackaging my remote and driving to DS for a $50 refund

    BUGGER

    • Should keep an eye on Logitechshop's facebook page. It said a few days ago a Harmony sale was coming.

      • thanks domingo - i'm so annoyed. I hate driving to shops - much prefer online purchasing

    • +16

If you cant be bothered with repacking for $50 refund you are not a ozbargainer.

      • touche

      • +2

And there's no point in being 'so pissed off'.

        • $50 bucks down the drain - surely i can be "pissed off" for five minutes?

    • You should read their price matching policy.

I think Officeworks or something work on the concept where if you see it cheaper within 2-3 days, they'll match and beat by 5%…

check out if Dick Smith do the same.

    • Try dicksmith. They may be able to price match it for you. As it is within the 14 day money back gurrantee. So there is more reason for them to match, as an opened pack would sell for even less once return. Just give them a call and see, may save you packing it up. All this may work only if you are willing to make a phone call for saving $50.

      Cheers.

  • Holy crap, even cheaper than last time!

Remotes are pretty useless to me since almost everything I watch is through my HTPC. A wireless keyboard and mouse works better than any remote can for it.

    • +2

Sounds like you have a pretty crud HTPC setup then.

A proper HTPC should work like a TV - would you use a mouse and keyboard for that?

    • +1

I have a Harmony remote and it's much more convenient for browsing within Win7MC than a keyboard. The keyboard/mouse is useful for doing other tasks outside MC.

    • +1

defs get a harmony remote. I've got a HTPC with windows 7 media centre and the harmony one to go with it.
i had an ir box for the keyboard that i use for the HTPC anyways so set-up was easy.
now i have an activity that turns on the tv, my surround sound speakers and starts up media centre; all with one button! heaps more convenient than getting the remote for the tv and switching it on and then to the right input; changing remotes then turing on the surround sound and making sure the input is right there; and then grabbing the mouse/keyboard and starting up media centre.

      HARMONY FTW!

    • +1

In any case, a dinovo edge works better than a wireless mouse. The keyboard has a built in trackpad that works very easily, no need for a surface to use it on etc.

But remote > keyboard for general HTPC usage.

      • wish i could still get a dinovo edge at a decent price… i'd love one for my HTPC

  • off topic : can we have another mouse sale please? ;)

    • +1 was about to order last time and got interrupted (damn employers, just because they pay my wage they expect me to work!) and just missed the cut -off time :(

  • I'd like a PS3 adapter on it's own, got a special for that?

    • +1

      Come on LTS!

  • +1

    So many logitech sales
don't know what and when to buy!

    • buy a harmony, and buy it now lol. ive got the harmony one… you wont regret grabbing one if you have a handful of remotes; makes life so much easier…

  • i have a harmony one - should i upgrade to a 1100?? Is it even an upgrade?

    • +3

i dunno, really it's a bit of wang factor wid the 1100i. I've ordered the 1100i and the One, more so I can show my mates the One, then hand em the 1100i.

/i may or may not have a small man sausage.

  • Hmmm deciding between the One and the 1100i. The 900 doesn't seem worth the extra money but I do like the idea of backlit buttons

    • +1

The One has backlit buttons - my one does.

      • Cheers for letting me know. Not an essential feature on a remote but something handy when the lights are out. + rep

  • Is there a way for one online account to support more than one remote? I had an old harmony and upgraded to the harmony one, but my account said only one remote at a time was supported. I'd like to get another harmony for the other tv I have if I can just use my existing account instead of signing up for another one!

  • hmmmm just placed an order for 2 x 600's and paypal is charging me $60.01, why an extra 1cent???

    • You're really worried about a cent?… :S

      • +5

A true Ozbargainer at heart, that's why.

    • its the price calculation with the GST added comes to $60.01.

  • nooo… why does bose have to use RF? Finally found good universal remotes that come with a PS3 adaptor for a decent price…

    • Some of the higher end harmony's can do RF. Can't remember which off the top of my head.

    • EDIT: I thought the Next Generation Remote Control Extender could directly interact with RF devices but it can't.

  • Well done LTS. Harmony 600 is mine!

  • Hi could I ask if the Harmony one is much better the Harmony 700.
I dont have many devices, so would it be worth the extra $50. thanks

    • Harmony 600 and 650 supports up to 5. the higher end ones support 15 devices. Best to go to logitech.com and determine which one you want for yourself.

  • +2

Didn't really need it, but couldn't resist snapping up a Harmony One. Ordered yesterday, arrived this morning. Sweet!

  • +1

Last night the remote on the bedroom TV died, today I find this awesome deal! Ordered two 600s. Love it!

  • +1

Wow very impressive delivery. Order late arvo yesterday 4:30pm, got my receipt at 4:45pm, delivery notice at 7:30pm and now its just arrived today(syd to melb)

    Kudos to LTS!!

  • 1100i + PS3 adapter - $229 ! Win Just ordered mine, I have been eyeing off this bad boy for a while now ! Price seems fair to me! Great stuff Logitechshop/Fluidtek

  • Dammit… I'm going giddy with excitement!! Those prices are INSANE!

I don't really have a budget, but I'm always building value HTPC's for family & friends. I've got 2 in my house already.

Don't shoot me, but what one should I buy?!

    What's the best bang-for-buck??

Buying the right one could REALLY be the icing on the cake!

EDIT: My HDTV tuner has IR receiver already, but should I get the PS3 (bluetooth) adapter? I have Logitech Media Keyboard running on the PC via bluetooth, and it works like a dream, although $150 2nd-hand!!

    • I found the bluetooth adapter useless and returned it when I purchased one late last year. Took up a usb port and I already fine that only have 2 ports on my slim is a joke, so wasting one on a device that isnt up to scratch and at the time was extremely over priced considering it felt like a strong wind would blow it away.

  • omg i ordered mine yday after 5pm, and it's here today! great work guys!

  • -2

    Is it just me?

I cannot get excited by remote controls, especially when the price is three digits, let alone when the first one can be a "3".

Maybe its because I don't have a vast mansion with remote control blinds … lights … hi-tech appliances etc etc

Maybe its because I don't think I'd ever get the thing to work for me … or if I did, remember how to use it (I cant even get some of my dedicated remotes to work!).

Maybe its because I know I'd lose it.

I hope I'm not being sacrilegious and about to be excommunicated.

    • yes…its just you

    • Haha I'm with you. I've got my $10 universal from COTD before they turned shit and it does the job for me. Admittedly, if I hadn't broken my dedicated remote, I wouldn't even have that.

    • +3

Maybe you haven't grasp the concept of an e-penor :) If you are truly an Ozbargainer at heart, a bargain is a bargain. Whether you NEED it or not, that's beside the point!

  • Just purchased 2 Sets of Ultimate Ears™ MetroFi 170 Noise-Isolating for $29.

Since you can barely get one for that price, two seems to be very good value.
