the great box ploy. A marketing trick to make it feel like your getting a bargain
there is a chance other sony kiosks are also reducing the prices on the 2017 models. Main issue now is that the pic does not reflect the right model.

Sony tv's aint what they used to be.
Now they just use Samsung panels for their LEDs and LG Panels for their OLEDs.
If youre going to get a LED or OLED and want quality products. Just buy LG or Samsung.What a load of crap!.
Was there today this arvo, and made the young sales guy at the Sony Kiosk at Parramatta Westfield's an offer of $3500, (..said I noted the ozbargain listing for $3499 initially, but that it now changed….),
and he initially basically accepted my offer BUT countered my offer with $3,600 , BUT included a Sony branded "google-chromecast"-type speaker thingy-ma-jig( don't know what its used for though, as only interested in the A1 oled T.V.Anyway, when the sales boss walked in from his break, said he wouldn't accept the $3600, BUT will now take $3,800 ???

Ended up just leaving and saying I'll think about it….
