  • Has anyone tried these and were happy? I am looking for a USB charged lamp for my bike but also with a rear blinker

    • Haven't used these, but I'm a big fan of my Gaciron V9C-800. Didn't think it was that pricey, but I can't find it in my order history now, and it's probably worth it anyway. I don't have anything I would call reputably measured to compare it to, it's actually pretty damn bright, especially after having gone through several lights advertised using Chinese lumens.
Something to bear in mind is it's just a flood, so no beam shaping here. If that's more your style, maybe go for something like this. Not quite as bright (by the numbers), but I can't tell the difference (maybe thanks to the shaped beam though). It's also actually got a flashing pattern (the Gaciron doesn't, apart from an SOS mode).

In terms of rear lights, I've got two like these, not from that seller, maybe got them off eBay? Pretty decent blinkers, last for several rides before needing recharging. Speaking of, all above lights use micro-usb to charge, which's nice.

  • I followed the link and the price listed is $25.99

  • Thorfire huh? With one of these you'd be able to see Mjolnir or far!

  • Got mine today. I bought it for my father in law but now I want it for myself… Sigh!
