They've literally been giving them away constantly. I really don't understand why an OZB would pay money for these when you can get them for free.
Keep in mind this is just over $30 posted, and it's in an opened box.

@Mic Cullen: I saved money on shipping through the eBay deal. I got a free phone and Google home mini on a phone plan. I got a free Google home mini by scanning a card while doing my weekly shipping.
@yamumma: Yea! Usually I would laugh also, but I was on a $59 sim only plan with telstra for 2 years, then signed up to the $59 Pixel 2 XL deal, so for me I didn't pay a cent more, and got a free phone/google home mini.
It's almost like Google is giving them away because they make money once you have the device.

Nevertheless, today haggled with customer care and requested I be considered retrospectively.
They almost did, but then ended up giving a nice personal discount voucher.

Never heard from them. Followed up today and they've just told me out of stock, funny when there was only a few in stock when I posted this. Would have been nice to know a week ago….won't be using them again

Exact same thing happened to me. No communication of shipment nd when I tried to contact them I was told they wanted to make sure I knew the box was opened but product was new. I said yes, ad says that and was promised shipment on that same day just to be sent another email minutes later saying they were now out of stock :/
