      Given you have linked to my post as a negative experience I will comment.

      Like many others I received some free sample packs since making that post.

      The product was much better, most definitely edible and enjoyable to eat.

      I still don't think it was as good as my first order years ago, but maybe rose coloured glasses or something I don't know.

      Yes, I'm pretty annoyed - Do not use bank transfer!!! They took my money and never supplied the product. I have emailed them 4 times over the period of 4 weeks and never received a reply…. crooks.

    Here’s my story in dale Kerrigan voice

    • Use to love this stuff. Had a packet every day for work. Bought 30 packs at a time

    • then about a year ago a whole 30 pack was almost useless. Thin. Brittle. No taste.

    • ordered another 30 pack thinking it would be better. Same as last 30 pack. Close to inedible. Certainly not enjoyable.

    *complained on ozbargain post. Someone from Geronimo sent me a couple of sample packs. The samples were as good as the original good stuff. Having said that, did they try extra hard for the sample packs? Probably.

    *today. Do I order or not. Unsure.

    I recently bought 2 x 450g bags (about three weeks ago) of the Buckshot and Pow Wow and it was delicious (especially the buckshot). I hadn't tried it before (when people are talking about the 'original' taste) but I've tried Jim's Jerky and Byron Bay and this was the best so far.

    Bought on the 22nd, was sent same-day courier on the 26th. Pretty happy with that :)

    Too scared to order this stuff. First batch years ago was ace but 2 subsequent orders were way too dry and just a pain to eat. Eating costco jerkey instead.

    They’re last post comments on issues which have been resolved. New supplier and new staff now exist. Flooding issues are over. I’m not a jerky fan but surely these guys are worth another shot. Sample bags is a good way to regain some trust in quality.

      • I agree thats absolutely inappropriate by this company. Surely they are better to contact you and fix it, as opposed to have you commenting on all the posts they make on here (which you should do - until they fix your issue)

          They still have my money and are digging in hoping I'll go away.

          Like flashi007 indicated they are smoke screening and dont want find a solution at all.

          Im not sure what options are other than concede ive been robbed.

    I find buying a $50 dehydrator and making my own is best. Plus it tastes better than every brand name I've bought. Use your $10 referral credit on Kogan to make it even cheaper.

    • Update - sent them an order for pick up (7 bags) this morning. Already got a reply saying it's ready to go. So far so good!

  • I was an avid buyer but their product became inedible and I stopped ordering.

    I received a sample pack from Geronimo not too long ago.

    The taste was good. And was edible. Not the best jerkies I've ever had but they are trying hard to win customer satisfaction back.

    Ill be buying a few bags.

  • I'm another that used to buy it all the time. Then it got rubbish and stopped.

    Got sent some samples after my latest review and they're much better. Not as good as before, and I'm still not sure if i'll buy more.

    Old Geronimo - 9/10
    Rubbish Geronimo - 1/10
    New Geronimo - 7/10

  • Is there a limit on the number of bags to get the $8.50 postage? I have created an order for 20 bags and it's coming up as $13.50

    • They used to include how many bags for each shipping tier. You'll have to look at one of their older deals.

    My last order was too dry and painful to eat. Now I don't order from them anymore.

  • I've also order about $40 worth during last sale and haven't even got any response from Geronimo. Paypal has let me know that the payment has gone through but no confirmation email or support from Geronimo has responded to give any further details.

    Really disappointing, thought these guys were getting back on track but once again they've failed in the customer service department.

    Ordered and paid on 6th August. Haven't got any shipping information.

    Emailed [email protected] and [email protected] on 20th August and got no response.
    Emailed [email protected] on 21st August and got no response.

    Looks like my money is gone now. Sadly not going to order from this mob again.

    • same experience, what's going on here? If they're working to get the orders out why not just let us know? I'm not in a rush so can wait but with no communication I think i'm just going to file a dispute with paypal soon.

          The ASIC link was from 2017, they went AWOL for ages and came back this year. But it seems like things haven't improved sadly.

    Looks like the paypal dispute finally go attention they are stating it is being sent out tomorrow, doesn't explain or excuse zero customer contact for multiple customers.

    Will never use this company again.

      thank you for your patience and understanding ,
      We have had an overwhelming amount of orders that we are trying to get through.

      We did set expectations of up to a three week delay for orders to go out due to previous similar deals but this exceeded expectations but nearly completed. Your order is marked to go out tomorrow and we will send tracking number to you at that stage.

      I also have instructed them to put in some extra for you.

      Again sorry and thank you for your understanding.

      If their jerky is back to form will consider buying from them again, they just really need to get their communication and customer service skills in order.

        To be fair - you might be busy but keep the customers informed of the situation. Most people are forgiving as long as they know what’s going on.

        Their customer service is appalling. Reminds me of the guy who tried to sell all hose xiaomi robot vacs last year. No Communication plus no service = angry customers

  • After almost a month I received my order this morning. Yet to taste but hopefully they're as good as when they first began.

    Got my previous 3x500gram orders last week and they taste absolutely fantastic, got the tablet stand too.

    Been eating too much cause they're "that" good but am suffering abit from it, argh.
    The good ol'buckshot is back with thick meat and juicier stronger taste.

    • Received mine, amazing! It's back to where it was quality wise maybe even better flavour!? Very high quality jerky. If they can be more vocal about shipping process etc they're back on top for me!

      • Ya I bought another batch of 200grams 40% off too cause I know it'll take a month… Still got half of my Buckshot and sidewinder left.

        Sidewinder seems less spicy and more like sweet chili now.

    PayPal came through and refunded me this morning, they might have good jerky but not worth dealing with them due to their atrocious customer service and business processes, $10 says they will be out of business again in 12 months if they keep running things the way they are. BUYER BEWARE

  • My order from 6th August arrived today. I would remove the neg if I could now, but the lack of communication was disappointing.
    I'll probably wait and see how they go with their next deals rather than order again.

    Jerky itself is good quality and they gave me a free 40g bag of Sidewinder to apologise.

  • I have been a loyal customer since 2015. However I ordered more on July 12 and it never arrived. Sent many emails and FB Messager etc most with no response since then. In early Sept I did get some apologies and promises and then nothing. In the end lodged a PayPal dispute to get my money back. My order then updated to 'Processed' and 'Completed' this week (although no delivery of course). Since I just received another promo email from them, I thought I had to share my experience - BUYER BEWARE!
