Hi, just wondering if anyone recently bought from B&H Photos? I wanted to get some video gears and at checkout there is no mention of Australia GST so I am wondering what is the process?
The item I am buying is less than AUD $1000.

Thanks. So if GST is not calculated at checkout, is it still safe to order from them?
They forgot to charge me GST on a few hundy worth of photo paper. Will happily chance it again in the future. Though GST is only 10%, even plus 10% bhphoto is still the cheapest place around usually.

Any updates on this? B&H still don’t seem to be explicitly charging GST, so just wondering how the process works wrt GST?
I just purchased something from B&H on 16/01/2019 and was not charged GST
Sales Tax $0.00
I do have to note that I purchased a "used" item, so don't know if that plays a part. Shipping company(DHL) delivered goods without chasing me up for the GST amount.

didnt see any sales tax included in mine….
Luckily, I did not get taxed.
Please keep us updated with your order, I'm sure others would also like to know when B&H orders start getting tax and how.
@Broke-Ken: Ok.. I got my item from B&H and shipped by DHL.. I dont get charge for any GST whatsoever.. but they do open my package and open my item … i think they tried to determine the value of it… but since my item is not commercially available in Australia yet.. they just release my item and no GST being charge
I haven't bought from them recently, but I do remember them spamming me with ads prior to July 1st, mentioning this is the last chance to buy from them before they will charge us GST from 1st of July. So I believe they will charge you GST at some point.
