  • That's a good deal just for the data on with Telstra.

  • Is $20 first month only then back to $50?

    • I'd like to know this too. It's hard to determine from the promo page.
      This notification from that page is also confusing to me;

Notification Date 19/01/2018: Existing customers who purchase or renew the Unlimited Plan XL on or after 31/01/2018 will be charged at the new rate of $50.00. The discounted price of $20 will only be applicable to New SIM order

New Data inclusion valid from 16th January 2018.

      Valid Until 30/06/2018

  • Pls confirm is $20 first month only or always in the post.

  • Agreed, can't see if it's per month or first month!!

Hell good deal if it's $20 even for the first year.

Ref train for $5 Credit plx

  • I couldn't find this info so that's why I didn't include it in the post.

    From their promo email -
Lycamobile’s Hot Deals are now offering you lower calling rates, discounted high-speed 4G data plans, affordable international calling plans and much more. They really are all you need this summer.

  • Lycamobile are scummy as, don't waster your time!

It’s like they’ve had a raffle with random people to see who can create the craziest plans with the least detail.

  • Found the answer - $20 only applies for the first month. Title updated.

Shame, wouldn't bother then. make it 6months and i'll sign up.

  • If you don't need international calls, then Kogan is cheaper. 23gb and unlimited calls and text for $4.90 (new customers only).

    • +1

I get scam calls with Kogan. Both when porting my number and activating a throw away sim.
Never had the problem to this extent previously.

No love for Nepal. Cdnt find any international minutes.

  • For me, no more Lycamobile.

  • Agree with Mai22 and StankLord. From personal experience, Lyca are to be studiously avoided. Pick another Telstra mvno, even if it is a few bucks more.
