Shenanigans Winston Pale Ale

• Brewed By Shenanigans Brewing Company
• Pale Ale
• ABV: 5.2%
• 375ml Can

Tasting Notes
A light malt base combined with oats gives it a pale colour and pleasing body. Bucket loads of Kiwi, US and Australian hops burst out of the glass with notes of tropical fruit, freshly bruised citrus and notes of white grapes. Modestly bitter, the finish is full, refreshing and crisp.

    Still almost $9 a litre

Is it 95 octane or 98?

$125 usually for a high end, high ABV beer. What's so special about this 5% pale ale?

    • +1

It does seem a bit exorbitant for a 5.2% pale ale from a relatively new brewery.

No beer is worth 125$ a slab unless it was beer personally blessed by the pope.. Bit of a rort

      Kiddy touched beer?

      eeewwww

    • shit there are beers i buy that are $40 for a 700ml bottle, that would make a case a lot more than $125

  • I can only buy 4 cases? Awwww

Is this a joke post? There are tons of better craft beer at cheaper prices not on special

      Ends Thursday, get in quick.

    • Can you name me a few?
Not being condescending, but I live in the cultural wasteland that is Darwin.
Hopefully by the end of the year we will have our first Dan Murphy's and I can start looking out for dinner ready brews, but at the moment I'm loathed to shell out a fortune on what could be a costly mistake.

      • Hawkers, Two Birds, Temple, Fury, Beechworth are all great pale ales worthy of consideration. Check out the craftypint website. Never heard of Winston but would never buy pale ale in a can.

        • Agreed, they try and tell you you can't tell the difference once it's poured in to a glass but you can.

        • with those breweries you're obviously a mexican. winston is a classic sydney pale

        • ofc it is. $125 a case makes sense now.

  • smart marketing, hipsters will love this stuff

  • $125 for a case of beer?

    Even at $79 I wouldn't call this a "bargain"

    • Very good deal OP. Might pick up a case on the weekend in store.
