Anyone tell me if there is a difference between this new 2ds xl and the new 3DS xl apart from 3D?

Some external has changed, for example 2ds has smaller stylus, lighter by 50g and you can take out the cover of the sdcard without screwdriver. But if you dont care about 3d function, I recommended getting the 2DS XL, most people dont use the 3D function anyway.
Front and rear camera position has also change on the New 2DS XL. Its now moved further down to between the two screens rather than being in a more convenient position on the top edge of the larger top screen on The New 3DS XL. Other than that and what people have mentioned. The hardware specs are the same on both.

Another difference is the plastic shell is matte instead of shiny and has ridges on it instead of being smooth. And one more, the speakers are in the body now so if you play without headphones your hands mute the speakers and you can't hear as well.
It isn't really an improvement on the N3DS XL, just a budget option for people who weren't going to use 3D but want to play New 3DS exclusive games.

Good deal if you want a 2ds for whatever reason but honestly I would spend more for the 3ds. 2ds feels too cheap.
