The Expansion portable hard drive can be installed easily by plugging in a single USB cord. You can start saving your digital files to this external hard drive within seconds of removing it from the box.

  • Price in title

    • was so concerned in making sure i put retailer etc in title i forgot the price LMAO

  • $79. Bought one from JB last time they were on sale, pretty good value.

  • I am on Prime trial and they said also have Prime Video, is that mean in the future one price for both?

    • Yes.. you pay a single price for all amazon features.

Currently either $4.99 per month or $59 for the year

      • Thanks including music?

        • Amazon music is an additional cost

        • @jimbobaus:

Thanks $5 with free delivery and video not bad

        • @jimbobaus:

To clarify, Amazon Prime Australia (AU) does NOT include Amazon Prime Music which the Amazon US & Amazon UK Memberships already include. (I have both the US & the AU Prime memberships). We also DO NOT receive the AutoRip option in our Prime AU membership so that when we purchase CDs, LPs etc. With my Amazon Prime US membership I am also receiving a digital licence to the music which enables us to directly rip our paid for music and store in the Amazon Cloud or d/load to my devices. Maybe Amazon AU will include in the future, but cetainly not in our current memberships.

"Amazon Prime Music" should NOT be confused with the Amazon music subscription service called "Amazon Music Unlimited" which is a pre-paid monthly subscription service in addition but NOT included with the Amazon Prime AU membership. This is a subscription music streaming service that competes heads on with Spotify, Deezer, Google Music, You TubeMusic (formerly YouTube Red), Apple Music et al streaming services. Howeber, you WILL be peppered with offers from Amazon AU to subscribe to this service as I suspect they (Amazon) may be considering shutting down the free Amazon Prime Music to focus on the revenue earning Amazon Music Unlimited service. Already, my music choices have shrunken on Amazon Prime Music and many searches are now re-directed to Amazon Music Unlimited offers. Australia is not a large market for them and I don't think they are too concerned at offering a limited Prime membership in this country.

        • @et tu brute:
We also pay a lot less than the US does

          $99USD vs $59AUD

But i totally see your point :)

  • As mentioned in other thread Officeworks doing the same price on ebay but you get an extra off with Penny5 and cashrewards.

    • +1

      Officeworks (Ebay Plus)
      $79.00
      5% discount with Penny5
      $75.05 (after 5% off)
      1% Cash Rewards (on Pre-GST amount $68.23) = 0.67c
      Total paid after cashrewards: $67.55

      Amazon (Amazon Prime)
      $79.00
      6% Cash Rewards (on Pre-GST amount $71.81) =$4.30
Total paid after Cash Rewards $67.51

So technically you save 4 cents by getting it from Amazon and any OzBargainer would take the 4c any day :P

      • +1

Well that is really sad. I forgot the 6% from cash rewards.

      • I'm a bit confused why you're quoting Ex-GST figures as final prices unless I've missed something.

        Wouldn't it be:
        $75.05-0.67=$74.83 (OW)
        $79.00-4.30=$74.70 (Amazon)

        Difference of $0.13.

        • +2

          Yeah you are right.
I must of had a brain fart.

  • +1

Also on sale for $79 at JBHifi at the moment (which is probably why Officeworks have this price).
