Don't ask silly questions, that is not important! ;)
Might want to mention its 10c discount per litre at any participating Caltex Woolworths/Safeway petrol stations.
oh that's good( i though it was only 10c off total purchase)
So did I at first glance.
you can save more by buying stuff you need when it is on special.
When it costs around $60 to fill up a tank, what difference is 10 cents going to make ??? :S
it's 10cents per litre ;)
So… driving extra distance to het $2.80 off a tank of petrol is a deal?
Don't kid me. You want a bargain, go to your local independent. If you don't support them, coles and woolies get all market share and you will NEVER see a bargain.
Edit: "$89 annual fee" and "The Woolworths Everyday Rewards Qantas credit card offers a competitive interest rate, currently 19.99% p.a. on purchases and 20.99% p.a. for cash advances."
Yeah, reaal bargain
It will make $5 dollar difference on 50 litre purchase.
Basically this offer is worth up to $20, based on the 200 litre limit. Not bad.
i think it's in addition to the 4c off a litre too - so 14c off per litre.
i tried to use this yesterday - but my car takes 95ron petrol. and the entire petrol station was out of it. so went to coles express, paid more for my petrol AND ended up buying one of those toy tanker trucks too for $4.99 (it was half price! perhaps i should list that as a bargain in itself?!).
Ages ago most petrol stations let you pay at the pump with your credit card, then they took it away (Probably to get people into the store and make an impulse purchase), now they bring it back as something new and convenient but only let you use their credit card (They probably make as much on the fee as they do if you made a purchase in store).
Then they complain about drive offs.
Have mandatory pre payment, accept any credit card at the pump and cash in store.
They will probably make more money thanks to the fuel which is not being stolen compared to what they do from impulse purchased made because you cannot pay at the pump with any credit card.
Is this even valid for anyone?
The PDF looks like it came from an email because there are "click here" buttons.
The PDF says "Your special offer' which sounds like it is targeted to someone.
The terms and conditions have been removed from the PDF making it hard to tell if it is for everyone or specific people.
You should have got an email from them about the offer.
Yeah, it works automatically for everyone.
Tried it the other day and automatically got 14c off.
As soon as you hang up the pump, you get a receipt emailed to you.
Quite cool :)
Paying at the pump saves me about 3-5 mins on a busy day. I fill up probably 40 times a year. That's a good 2 hours of time saved a year. Well worth the annual fee.
The pump actually incorporates a paypass/paywave reader, so it easily could be implemented with all other cards.

I would guess that ePump reader is the paypass/paywave reader too, it would read the card and see if the credit card number matches the numbering system for woolworths credit cards.
so it easily could be implemented with all other cards.
Just like all of the older pumps with magnetic card readers in them hidden behind a sheet of plastic, we will have to keep waiting.
To bad they rejected my credit card app lol
yeah.. and we meet their minimum earning amount.. they might be targeting alot higher than that.. geez…
dun really pump my petrol at woolworths anymore after they rejected me… went to coles express which is more convenient and has more branches..
I start to believe every single promotion from the big two retailers jacks up the petrol price and which stays there almost permanently. Thus these promotions could make a particular group (C/C holders, WWS shoppers etc) enjoy a few cents discount for a little while, then join all the rest of us later on to suffer from a sky high petrol price.
How, where, what & who?
