OK this is admittedly a rather niche deal, but $3655 is a pretty good price if you're after a 4K video mixer with control surface. It's only about $600 more than an ATEM 1 M/E 4K and includes the control surface and standards conversion on every input unlike the ATEM 1. Each audio input also has a 6-band parametric EQ, compressor, limiter, expander, noise gate, etc.
Who knows, maybe someone wants to become a serious twitch streamer.. :)
Previously the closest alternative was the ATEM 1 M/E at just above $3k but that didn't have any standards conversion and no control surface, so this is a much better buy since it too can be controlled with the ATEM software like the 1 M/E if desired.
But yeah, very niche I agree. Hopefully it'll help someone out there!

Well… there are people who are just getting into photography who have no qualms about dropping $5k for an A7R III and a set of G Master lenses, so who knows! :)

We bought the ATEM 1 M/E, then a month later BMD releases this. There'll be a barely-used 1 M/E on the second hand market soon! :)
