  • “Unique” code on BWS receipt isn’t unique. Got 2 bottles on 2 separate receipts and they were the same.

I think they re-thought the process of redemption.

  • To Clarify, the CODE is not the UNIQUE code, it's the last four numbers of the barcode on the bottle which is 0297

    Worked for me earlier today

  • $54.15 after 5% off wish gift cards.

  • Limited to the first 500 claims received.
    (4517 clicks)

I'm thinking I've probably missed the boat on this one.

  • these sound bad honestly. If you're buying for sound, much better headphones can be found at the $200 price point

  • Response I got from the Glen Grant promo team at 8pm AEST..

"We verify the entries every couple of hours to ensure this doesnt happen. It is based on the first 500 claims that we receive and verify. These people are then sent a code to claim their headphones. "

Either they haven't reached the 500…or they don't check it every 2 hrs as suggested.

    • I've sent my entry >5hrs ago, no response yet…
Mine was click and collect though, haven't had the opportunity for pickup yet…

        Claimed 1532hrs
        Code Received 2203hrs

I did contacting them regarding why some of my peers (ie ozbargainers) are receiving it already with a shorter wait time then mine. It ended up being confirmed and a minute later they contacted me saying "It should've been approved".

I'm not sure why some people take longer than others. Regardless, I've got mine XD
        Good luck everyone else!

    Good luck to everyone else!

      Sell for 200 on gumtree

  • i got my email saying i can buy the headphones just then.

  • +1

also received my email saying I can purchase the headphones. Great Xmas present!

  • Got the email. All good.

However found a massive glitch where if you have the HD 4.50's in your basket, you can add ANY other headphones and it gives you the same discount on the headphones.

So it charged me $370 for the HD 4.50's ($100) and a pair of pxc550's ($270).

Payment went through, got a confirmation email etc. Then this morning I got an email saying "We are sorry, but your order has been cancelled due to a failed payment, technical issue or upon your request."

My question is, do they need to honor the price I purchased it at? Got a screenshot shot of everything along the way including the payment pending on my card.

    • +2

The invitation to treat only specified the $100 4.50s. The glitch in the cart doesn't count as an invitation to treat since it wasn't advertised, therefore they have every right not to offer that price

      • Legally if they accept payment, they're obligated to deliver (even if it's a price mistake).

        Difficult to enforce though.

        • Not to sure about that, they can offer a prompt refund, I'm nothing sure if legally they must oblige

        • I think they get around that with the stupid "pending" payment on accounts. They argue that it's not fully processed, they are just holding the funds.

I'll keep you all updated, doubt they honour it though.

    • Glitch fixed? I couldn't replicate it …

    • Seems like the codes aren't working at all …

      • What do you mean not working?

    • Was you able to use your code again? Got same email but unable to use code to reorder even though I only had headphones in the order.

      • Haven't got a response from them yet. Can't reorder the original headphones.

        What now? :(

        • I think they sold out, you're out of luck :(

        • @Deridas: the code is sold out… But the headphones won't be. I've got a code, there was just an error in the original order. Still haven't got back to me despite 2 emails to them. Argh

        • @dutchcakes:

Maybe there's hope though, I've also found the same bug as you except I haven't been as adventurous as you (only ordered 2x HD 4.50's) and paid direct with a card instead of Amex. 2 pairs of HD 4.50 showed up. It's possible the PXC550 stuffed it up.

  • Reckon its worth trying to get one today?

    • Can always get click and collect, then submit your claim. If you don't get it, can always ask for refund and not pick up the Scotch…

      • But you need the receipt? Can you use the online click and collect order?

        • +1

Yeah, I did click and collect. For the 4 digit barcode use the one previously mentioned, then they ask for a photo of the receipt in which you just take a snapshot/print screen of your receipt which has a unqiue code for this promotion at the very bottom.

I submitted mine yesterday no problems (apart from like a 7hr delay whereas some others here seem to have a faster time).

I have yet to collect my Scotch. Technically I can now ask for a refund though that's probably not a very morally correct thing to do (I love my Scotch anyway so I might try this drop(.

        • +1

          @Deridas:
It's a very good drop - I don't think you will regret walking the moral path albeit a little wobbly after a few glasses :D.

        • +1

@Deridas: Cheers mate, worked got my promotion code like 10 minutes after submitting. Cheers.

  • +2

Thanks OP!!! I purchased a bottle this morning, redemption code was received soon after and my order has been placed. Husband only mentioned that he was after a pair of bluetooth noise cancelling headphones the other day too!

  • Are you misleading? By condition……
“For your chance to redeem Sennheiser Headphones for just $100, purchase a bottle of Glen Grant 10 year old. You’ll need to submit a copy of your receipt for in store purchases or your ready to collect email for online purchases.

    Competition closes 14 August 2018.”

    • +1

      Is who misleading?

  • Code received and used, now the order stuck on fulfilment started since midnight.

  • Is anyone going to attempt refunding their click and collect order?

  • Anyone had their Headphones shipped yet?

    • +2

Yeah I got a shipping confirmation email today. Bought it last night around 10:30pm.

  • +2

Got shipping confirmation but no tracking. Hopefully arrives Monday.

    A great promotion

    • When did you order?

      • This morning

  • Offer is expired

  • As of when? I submitted my form at 1:30pm today and still haven't heard back at all

    • Same. I submitted at 12:30pm

    • check ur junk email, my mate's email was in there.

  • +1

got mine on the way - thanks OP!!

  • Still have not heard anything back from my 1:30pm submission yesterday. You;d think they could at least write to say bad luck…

    • check ur junk email, my mate's email was in there. Didnt see it till 2 days later

      • it's back on

  • +1

    Anyone get their order today?

  • +2

I got my headphones today… I'm happy with quality but I haven't ever had anything to compare too. I'm just impressed that I don't have cords coming off them!

  • Jesus christ, it's been sitting in my junk folder for the last 5 days!

    • it's back on mate, be quick.

  • Response from the Glen Grant Team:

"The offer has ended but we are just going through all the claims to verify the receipts. The receipt you uploaded was only half the receipt and we couldn't see any details. Can you please re-send this so we can verify. Once verified and you are eligible, we will send through an email with the code to redeem your headphones online. "

    What's the point???

    • It sounds as though yours is one of the first 500 claims, it’s just awaiting validation. It would be pointless otherwise.

      • it was approved later and redemption code received, but still I can't make a purchase on the website.

        Another email from the team:

        Hi,

Just following the email sent to you with the next steps on how to redeem your headphones, we have been notified by Sennheiser that they are experiencing technical issues with their website and are rectifying this as quickly as possible.

We will let you know once this has been fixed so that you can redeem your headphones.

        Thanks

        The Glen Grant Team

    • Well did you only upload half a receipt?

      • it was approved later and redemption code received, but still I can't make a purchase on the website.

  • +1

It's back on! Just purchased mine. So those who have received the promo code can make purchase.

  • +1

Got my headphones today and can now open and sample the whisky tonight. It'll taste better with the headphones on! Thanks to the OP for the deal.

  • I had some issues at the time of checkout and the promo code says it is invalid. After some repeated emails to the Sennheiser support team, this was their final response "We are sorry, but your order has been cancelled due to a failed payment, technical issue or upon your request.
If you would like to re-order, please use our SORRY10 coupon to save 10%.".
    That is unfair :(

    • I had problems like you but the sent me new code

      • It doesn't look like they are not that interested in sending another code. I will give it few more days

  • They use Startrack. They tried to delivery twice last week on consecutive weekdays at 12pm and 1pm. No one at home quite obviously, they didn't even drop it off at the post office and now they've sent it back to Sennheisser!! Annoying to say the least…
