    Also keep in mind these SIM cards require a minimum recharge of $10 for activation, so if you're only activating this for a new number without any intention of making chargeable activity from it then Telstra would be a better option.

      Yes, but the banks which OP has listed will rebate that fee as well.

    There must be a correction. Because it's only free with ING Direct if you had deposited $1000+ per month to the account and had made 5 or more card purchases. And the account must have been given the reward.

    If you hadn't done that and the account doesn't show the rewarded flag on it then you will be slugged with the $2.50 ATM fee.

    $2.50 transaction fee if you're not with the banks listed plus $10 minimum credit to purchase when activating the sim. Minimum cost is $10 to $12.50 for a burner sim. Not a deal
