Not sure what drive is in these however, 6TB for $189 seems like a pretty good price.
Delivery is $5 to my address, not sure if it varies.
Update: C&C no longer available

It's Barwon Prison, explains why he gets shipping so cheap.

@Nickelback:
As per the definition of infidel, I'm just a nonbeliever😉
(Except when it comes to bargains)
Infidel: a person who has no religion or whose religion is not that of the majority.
There are many more of us than you'd expect😱
@Infidel: I don't believe you.

Thank you! Finally in the city for once and grabbed one.
Bought two of the 4tb versions a while back. First one lasted about 6 months then died so I took the hard drive out and put it in my computer. Plugged the other one in and it lasted a week so I did the same. They work great as internal drives though.
What type of drive was inside?
Can't remember but I think they were green WD 7200
How hard was it to crack open the shell and use the internal hard disk?
Usually very easy
This is a bargain, it was only a year / year and a half ago ? that the WD 2tb's (before they were replaced by 3tb/4tb's) and 4tb's were going for similar prices ($189-$229). Shame the deal has come at the wrong time as I don't need more external storage yet (only picked up a few 3tb drives for my ps4/xbox/new laptop backup over the past few months).
I have literally had over a dozen of the 4TB WD Elements drives without a failure. Some are being used as long term storage but a couple for media so spin up a lot. Are you letting them get hot? I actually have an external fan blowing on all my drives in summer, but it's been the Seagates that I've had die a lot.
Yeah, of the 20 or so externals I've had over the years, 1 was a WD 2.5' HDD from 2000 that I kept hot plugging and the other 3 were Seagates.
Gosh i should have grabbed one earlier at miranda - they must have had 1 left.
Order two 4tb from pc byte on the 10% ebay deal - another 6tb for a decent price - almost cheaper than the wds in my NAS !!
Edit : ordered - then found only 1 here @merrylands jb
Canned order and did the ozbargain thing of saving $5 on shipping !!!!!
I got one from Macarthur Square! That was the last one. Thanks op
Damn you!
Got one! Thanks OP!
Grabbed the last one from Elizabeth St, Melbourne store.
Will this work with my 2005 Camry?
Only if you have a flux capacitor fitted…
mmm not bad. - picked up one. hope they last a few years
the only problem with this deal is you have to wait a month to get it, as they are doing a pre-order thing to beable to sell at a epic price
Not in my case. Ordered yesterday, then got an email confirmation this morning:
"Your order xxxxxxxxxxxx is prepared and is about to be picked up by our carrier."
Does anyone know what drives they use in these?Edit: looks like they use Blues
