really? the planet is going to be colder as real science show we may be on the track for some global cooling (mini ice age). It would have rapid freeze cold fronts more often than not… then we get this trade war and the coming mega super world currency financial collapse which would see ALL currency goes down the toilet… so yeah 20 now would be a good investment in theory if the collapse did unfold, given the same sort of thing then would cost 2000 worthless hyper inflated AUD down the track… :)

Good for snow?As it is not goretex … all you can hope for at this price is warmth. So just need to get him something warm for when he is in the cold climate ..i think he will rent a proper ski jacket for the slopes (if not he is stuffed!)

Is this really a down jacket? There is no product info. Seems awfully cheap for a real down jacket and I don't want a polyester filled.
That struck me too, but they claim it retails for ~$200 which indicates down. Will soon find out.

I just saw the imagine you were referring to. Fill is 50% down and 50% feather.
However, at the top of the same imagine it said 100% polyester. I can't work out what it is for as the wording on the top is cut off. Any ideas?
100% polyester is the materials of the outer/lining of the jacket.
There are two headings there: 'Lining' and 'Filling'. As @caprimulgus says the lining is polyester.
so get two wear together at the same time and you get 100% down 100% feather!

My guess is synthetic down, not real down. If it was real down they would provide specs.
Also ^$200 “rrp” is not necessary indicative of real down, especially when it comes to “fashion” brands (or those pretending to be).
I’ve seen plenty of synthetic down jackets with prices higher than that!

I love how you have worded it, synthetic down. To me that's polyester ;) It's very similar to fleece that's not wool fleece.
Given they actually show the tag, and that the tag also indicates feather, i'd say it also includes down. Synthetic down and feather? - i don't think so.

The tag was only in the very end of photos, and only on a different colourway to the one I looked at (and a disgusting colourway in my opinion!), so obviously I didn’t see it until you mentioned it in your edit! :)

(But my point still stands that price is no indication of real down. As demonstrated, they DO sell synthetic jackets for similar prices.)

According to the pic they have, filling is 50% duck down and 50% feather (see beige colour versions, click bottom arrow on left hand side where the pics are and you'll see more pics. Keep clicking down arrow)

Also, any option to pay via paypal using the app?I bought a pair last year. Sizing is regular fit and its the same standard size chart compared to the jeans in Australia.
Quality wise are okay I used them for work (construction), they lasted about 8 months of heavy use. Style wise I give them 5/10.

I ordered at 7pm last night still waiting for the cancellation email. Looks like it’s only a matter of time. I ordered 5 jackets for my dad and his friends.
I've purchased from them a couple of times, and both showed up alright. Although dealing with their "customer care" seemed to be a nightmare, as they'd take several days to respond to an email, each time. I had to endure it as they sent me a defective product in the first order, but eventually it was all settled.
Check to see if your funds were actually taken out of your account, and not just sitting as a pending charge.
I've had that happen with Sports Direct before when mine was cancelled. Seems that every 2nd of of these Sports Direct deals gets a cancellation wave. One of the bomber jackets from 2 weeks ago is still showing pending on my PalPal account with a negative balance, but was never taken from my account.

I ordered this fairly soon after the deal was posted. Almost a week later, and apart from the initial email saying they had received my order, I have heard nothing. No confirmation of order, no cancellation. When I log in I see 'processing' same as it has been all along. My credit card shows the amount as pending. I've emailed Sports Direct to ask what's happening, but had no response.
I paid by Paypal. My credit card company says I can't dispute a pending transaction. How soon can I raise an issue with Paypal? I don't want to claim through Paypal only for them to say I should wait till after the possible delivery period, and they dump my claim because I didn't wait long enough.
