  • What is the battery life difference between the QHD (4K) and the FHD (1080p) versions?

  • That's actually an amazing price.
Note it's a 9360 not 9370, the latter has USB C and newer heat dissipation design this one has USB A and can experience thermal throttling.. if you're pushing it to its absolute limit)

Also even cheaper with ebay GCs (worth 5% further discount via woolies egift, or 7% if you get it through a reseller) + don't forget CR (worth 1%, so $18.75)

The 9360 has a single usb-c port. I've got one and I use the single usb-c for an external gpu which does power delivery as well. Never had a need for any more than the single usb-c port.

hey mate, can you advice if the fans are really loud on 9360 and do you have 13" or 15" ?

        Thanks

Note that the TB3 port on the 9360 only has PCIe 2x lanes, which will severely limit the performance of any eGPU (for those who want to use one).

The 9370 TB3 ports have the full PCIe 4x lanes.

  • This is a great price. Was deciding between this or the 9370. I ended up getting the newer 9370 because of the smaller form factor. Bear in mind the newer 9370 is usb-c only so it'll be dongle life.

  • What is the best price you guys have seen for the 9370 with this hardware?

    • much more than this.

Unless you must have rose gold and white colour, there's no disadvantage in 9360. Aside from a small and imperceptible body shrink, everything else is better in 9360.

There's no USB A on 9370. While C seems to be the future, I'm not ready to give up A yet. Most of my devices still use A. You only get one dongle with it for your 3 C ports. Dell charges $29 for another one.

  • 2 friends are currently locked in a battle for refunds on their 2-3 weeks old units of this model.

Their units were shipped with a faulty screen auto brightness control mechanism so screen flickers very badly whether in BIOS or windows:

Dell idiots have visited each a couple of times but haven't been able to resolve and having promised refunds they are now dragging their feet processing the paperwork.

  • 2 years ago I got one XPS 13 like this from Dell Ebay, and just 1 year later, maybe 13 or 14 months, its battery started to get swollen increasingly. Now the touchpad can never be used because of the swollen battery.

The trick is Dell says the battery is only provided with 1 year warranty and they cannot help.
Well, I think the battery warranty goes with only 1 year but now it's swollen and made mess of the general use of the laptop.

So guys, just think before click purchase button

can you not replace the battery yourself? Dell sells batteries.
