Op, 7.5% off eGift card as well?

    • +1

      Hey Aussie88,

This cashback offer only applies to orders on the Woolworths Online site. As such the cashback offer doesn't apply to the purchase of gift cards.

    • +3

But you can stack with 5% off wish cards

      • I've done a few online orders via shopback where i missed out on cashback because I paid with egift cards. Once I realised this, I switched back to cashrewards.
However, 7.5% means it's worth doing a woolies shop via shopback and not using egift cards.

        • Hey newdad,

There shouldn't be an issue if you pay with eGift cards. Send us a private message with further details on this (ie. orders you've placed) and the email address linked to your ShopBack account and we'll take a look :)

        • @gotyourback:

did 3-5 times wwls shopping using egift card via shopback. none of them were tracked but can see the click history

        • @ajxutao7: Hey ajxutao7,

We're so sorry that your orders have not tracked numerous times and we don't want this keep happening :(

Could you please send us a private message with the email address linked to your ShopBack account?

    Free plastic bags?

  • That looks like fun

I love ShopBack! I used your website 5 times in just few days - all shopping tracked within minutes.

Cashrewards - maybe 40% of time I have to contact them, and they often have some BS excuse not to honor the cashback - even though nothing in the fineprint or the retailer affiliate program (which I can see, as I own multiple affiliate websites as well)

    • +1

I used ShopBack for the first time last week.

No cashback yet. I've contacted support.

Rating 0/5 stars until i receive what I was promised

      • Hey ben1980,

This isn't the sort of the experience we want you to have especially when you're trying us out for the first time :(

Please send us a private message with the email address linked to your ShopBack account and we will also take a look into the issue.

    • The funny part is that both SB and CR use the SAME affiliate networks for the tracking. Some stores (e.g. Chinese stores) will use crappier affiliate networks like Shareasale who have bad tracking while some stores (e.g. Aussie retailers) will use CommissionFactory who have really good tracking.

So if you follow the steps correctly then it should track regardless of which cashback provider you use. Tracks for one, tracks for all.

Then again as an apparent affiliate website owner you should know this already shouldn't you?

      • which website?

        • Which part? The affiliate website owner part? Amores said they own multiple affiliate websites above.

      • It's still iffy. Shopback is the only company I've ever had something not track (I don't use these services often though). I used the exact same method with shopback and ebay on two purchases made quite close together (can't remember if it was within hours or a day) and only one triggered

That's including clear cookies/history, use IE, last-click correct, don't do anything else until purchase complete - exact same process - on both. No adblocker, I don't run one in IE.

        • AV definitely not blocking cookies or anything? The other issue is that some sellers use crappy affiliate networks with bad tracking. Or even a coupon not listed by SB. Groupon are one example of using a crappy network.

    • TBH, I had positive experience with both Cashrewards and Shopback. Shope where you get the better rate is the key.
SB also have some awards from time to time and get free cashback which I love.

Sometimes I do feel SB a little too red, but that is personal preference.
(Side note: I never got my credit to refer a friend from CR though)

      • Block-quote I never got my credit to refer a friend from CR though

I have to contact them every time for this. Onlt then it gets approved.

        • Thanks. Its been a while now, I will move on.

      Hey Amores,

Thanks so much for your feedback!

Do feel free to reach out to us via PM if you have any questions or require assistance in future :)

Last time shopback had an offer with Woolworths, they tricked us by mentioning minimum spend excluding GST. This caused me to miss the $20 cashback offer by only $5. I will never trust shopback and their offers. Be careful.

    • +1

Yeah i wont trust Shopback either, Bought an item in their promoted sale period that surprising didnt track and received a long line of excuses. Plus they are not based in Aus

      • Where is CR based?

        • Where is CR based?

          Straya I guess!

        • They're a Sydney company.

        • @Clear: and SB?
I thought CR have only few people here. Rest might be somewhere else.

        • @Gaggy: You have it backwards. Shopback is a Singaporean company with only a few people here in Aus. So most of their customer service etc. is offshore. Cashrewards is an Australian company with an aussie office and 50+ staff last time I checked.

        • +1

@Clear: Hmm. Interesting… Didnt know that. Had replies to my tickets in the past from names which normally used to be more common from Philipones based Helpdesks for other providers.

We should support CR more in that case. Hopefully they will keep the rates competitive.

        • @Gaggy: Never had any issue with CR. In fact they send an email sometime after you activate an offer that basically says "We noticed we didnt track a purchase. If this is a mistake contact us here". Shopback sent me an email that said my purchase was tracked successfully and cashback will be in my account after a certain amount of time but it ended up showing "Denied".

      • Hey Geoff897,

This is not the sort of experience we want you or anyone else to have :(

Could you please send us a private message with the email address linked to your ShopBack account? We'll see what we can do for you.

        • Thanks but i wasted enough time,

I sent you a PM, Then you told to email, Then the email reply tells me to fill out the form. (Form doesn't have the right detail that you need, so then had to email.) somewhere in-between their was phone calls

Then got to someone who responded, Then told me to email in different formats 10+ times, and then got told i registered to shopback the day after the transaction, and purchased the day before. this went on for weeks

Even though downloaded the crappy app, registered account, Click the dedicated shopback special banner and purchased on ebay all in sequence in about 15 minutes.

    • Hey alikazi,

We're so sorry about the experience you've had - we did try to make it clear in that post as much as possible. Please send us a private message with the email address linked to your ShopBack account and we will see what we can do for you.

Do you have to pick up today to get the cashback, or can you place the online order and pay today but set pickup to be later in the week?

    • Hey Goldenhurricane,

No you don't have to pickup your order today, you can set the pickup day and time to be some time later this week. Just make sure you place your order by 7.59am AEST tomorrow morning to qualify for this cashback offer :)

      • Thanks, I joined through your referral link and placed an order.

        • +1

          You're welcome! Welcome aboard :)

  • Can I stack the cashback with the "Spend $50 per week for 4 weeks, earn 10,000 reward points" promo?

    • Hey whirlpool_guy,

It should be fine as you're not using any voucher/promo codes :)

    • +3

A word of warning: check the terms of the promo email, the offers Woolworths Rewards have been sending out recently exclude online purchases.

      • Can confirm this is the case for us too - "Offer not available at Woolworths Online".

      • Indeed, thanks for checking
