It was $50 with Amazon originally, but they aren't sending it early. So you will only receive the game on Tuesday at the earliest. It is like they are actively trying to fail in AU
Yeah I ordered it from Amazon originally as there are no Big Ws near me. Cancelled when I saw it would turn up Tuesday. Amazon need to up their game!
I didn't think Toad lived up to the hype. I can't honestly recommend it, definitely not at this price point.

Enjoyed it but yeah it was short and not highly replayable. I'd say see if you can pick it up later off of some one second had for $30 and then flip in on for the same price. .. whats really annoying is they are adding new levels to this. Not worth the repurchase - but could they not reward the Wii U owners buy giving them the bonus (even if its not until a bit after the switch release) .. though these were my thoughts for Mario Kart and they didn't do it there either.
On the flip side I think its one of my favourite Wii U titles. I loved it and found there was a reasonable amount involved to 100% the thing.
I never played the original, and enjoyed the demo. It's worth $50 for me.

Whats so great about octopath? I played the demo and everything seemed pretty average for an RPG. Is it the 2dhd thing?

What's the difficulty like with Captain Toad? Demo was really easy but they were the first three levels.
I havent played the full game, but what I read is that finishing a level is easy, but finding all items and completing all challenges is decently challenging.
Personally I'm not sold on it, and will try to grab it for cheap much later down the track.
Not a hard game to get through but if you want to 100% it and do the bonus content, speed trials and the 50 (or whatever it was) level maze then there's some challenge there.
Had good fun with the demo & I skipped it on Wii U. Will trade Odyssey in towards it, does EB price match Big W? Worst thing about Nintendo is their games very rarely get cheap so may as well grab now as it won’t drop much at all

How does toad compare to Wii U version?
Bought a new sealed copy on Wii U for $20 at Christmas. Still haven’t gotten around to playing it. Same thing with Tropical Freeze which I bought sealed for $25. I think I can still get by with my Wii U to play these games at a fraction of the price. Apart from Mario Odyssey, for me personally, there isn’t anything that justifies spending more more money on a Switch. I have most of the games on Wii U which I bought second hand for $150.
