CBA Internet Banking Is Awful

Does anyone else think CBA internet bank is awful?

I was drawn to it because the CommSec app is quite nice. But the general desktop version is hard to understand, slow and unpleasant. Shouldn't need their silly chatbot thing to understand how to do simple things like transfer money.

    Never had a problem with it - seems much more user friendly than others I have used. Guess it is what you are used to - I use both the app and the website.

    Have used NetBank since it first came out and has been miles ahead of the others. Not sure what in NetBank makes it hard transferring money?

    I have no trouble with the website. It does the job and is quick. Maybe it's got too many options for you?

    Never had any trouble with it. I personally prefer the desktop version.

    There are now 5/5 people without any issues with it.

    I got Anz, Westpack and CBA, out of all three, CBA is the best in both desktop and mobile app version. Are you a first timer? Maybe you need some time get used to the site.

    Never had an issue with CBA’s setup. I found St Georges’s pretty woeful though.

    Compared to Westpac (the one I have to use for work), CBA is a couple of decades ahead.

    Westpac only just changed to being able to enter in your password using the keyboard(!), passwords are not case sensitive, and are limited to 6 characters!

    CBA any day!

    Used about 6 different banking apps and online banking and CBA is by far the best.

    Lol, have never had to use their chatbot for anything. Their site/app is fairly self-explanatory. I feel this says more about you than it does about their website. Or you're on a phishing website and not actually CBA's…

    My experience with all internet and physical banking is the same. Woeful.

    I insert my username. Password. 45 different co-authentication/identity checks.

    Just for the bank to remind me I'm a peasant.

    • I only ever have to enter my username and password

      • That wouldn't make my experience any better.

        Fewer steps to being greeted by a depressing number.

        • Instead of complaining on the internet maybe you should try reading some self development books, learn a new skill to give you the upperhand at work and push good changes for yourself. Just an idea.

    Hard to understand?? Lol CBA and Macquarie have the best online platforms available.

    I think it's quite user friendly. Besides the occasional (rare) downtime, I can't fault them.

  • I tried the online chat the other day and was great, wanted to delete manage/accounts but needed a person todo it so it put me through to someone who deleted them without talking to anyone on the phone. All done in 5 minutes
