Recommend me a smart watch/wrist band(?) for monitoring blood pressure + sugar level
Not sure if there any smart watch for monitoring sugar level?

  • Pretty sure there aren't any non-invasive blood glucose monitoring devices yet. The closest might be a combination of a subcutaneous wireless monitor + Fitbit Ionic…. but I'm not sure if that's even on the market yet.

  • I don't know if either exists? Then again I didn't search, but I think blood pressure needs an actual cuff to measure?, I remember seeing somewhere a watch, but I don't think it was accurate? Maybe heart rate would be better? I don't know of any sugar levels either, I always assumed that required blood (a pin prick?).

Would be happy to be wrong though, would be cool having that technology in a watch.

Before you looking for smart devices, try to understand the concept of it and why you need it?
Seriously, you need a 24/7 blood pressure monitor that is pretty accurate?

But you can try this https://store-au.getqardio.com/products/qardioarm?variant=29…

  • There is no proper way to measure them in a non-intrusive way. Don't waste your money.

  • Almost no claims that fitness band/watch makers make about their devices are true. They cannot measure sleep/REM, pulse or even steps accurately. It seems to be a device category made for idiots.

    • =( I use mine to track my jogging distance via the GPS…

    • Why can't they measure heart rate accurately? plenty of them can be paired with a chest strap.

  • Do you have diabetes? Just curious why you would want to constantly measure your blood sugar

  • No smart watch can measure blood sugar nor accurately check blood pressure. You can buy an Omron monitor that constantly checks your BP and syncs to the Omron app on your smartphone via the app, but other than that it's all still manual.

  • Dexcom CGM + smart watch will get you BGLs on your wrist.
