whats the reason to buy this instead lf an xbox or ps4?
Cheaper if you don't plan on playing games, need to compare price of one X to this not the one s. And PS4 doesn't play 4k.

Yes but apparently it's not that great at it. Not that I'd be able to tell the difference.
Better playback quality.
Better off getting an Xbox One S. Seen those for as little as $250-$300. Comes with 4K streaming. UHD bluray and plays games.
I bought Sony X800 last Christmas at Costco. Can i return it now and jump on this deal as my Sony TV supports DV? Anyone has tried return at Costco? Base on their FAQ, I can do it with the receipt.
Edit: Just read some reviews, I think I will stay with X800 now, and may go with Panasonic for DV
