Some reviews on the product page: https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0772PDYVW.
How secure are these for lan only use?
Well its made in China, so bit questionable how secure it is.
If only for internal (LAN) use your best bet is just to block all incoming/outgoing traffic (from internet) to the camera using a firewall and only allow LAN traffic.
I have done the same with a cheap chinese camera I bought from ebay, used for a babycam.
Manually set an IP & don't add a gateway or DNS.
edit: reading the comments below about not being able to set a static IP's - my advice is not to buy this for your baby monitor.
2mp to 1080P yikes Jim
Some information: https://www.cctvcameraworld.com/2-megapixel-hd-security-came…
?
1920 * 1080 = 2,073,600 ~ 2MP
Exactly my point, thanks ;)
Will this support website preview? means can I add this camera to my DVR?
You can use the WiFi (2.4G), where after connecting, you can view it via internet. You can use the mobile app, Danale, or download DanaCMS to view it from your computer.
can this set as static IP and does it support H.264 format?
Can't set as static IP, yes, it does support H.264 format.
Reading some reviews on Amazon it seems this camera streams via the cloud service only and does not connect directly? Does anyone have a recommendation of any camera's you can directly connect to help avoid slow video feeds? I've read some camera's allow for multiple feeds (Eg, one constantly backing up to cloud the other for remote connections).. however it seems hard to find this information and perhaps they cost allot more but keen for a wireless solution if anyone has a recommendation…
Cheers!
I can highly recommend the one below. Such a high quality product for the price:
https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/KKmoon-Wireless-Wifi-720P-H-264-…
Just note that it is 720p camera, not 1080p like the one in the OP.
But it is packed full of features i.e. wifi, lan, can have external speakers, PTZ control, nightvision, 2 way audio (although built in speakers are pretty crap).
I have been using it as a babycam 24/7 for a few Months now without any issue connected wirelessly to my network. I have blocked its connection out to internet (for security reasons).
I can access the camera with software, apps or directly via web browser using its IP address.
It was a bit annoying setting it up (uses some loud beeps to be found and connect via phone) but other than that its been really great.
You can use the WiFi (2.4G), where after connecting, you can view it via internet. You can use the mobile app, Danale, or download DanaCMS to view it from your computer.
Also, it is direct, and not through a Cloud service.
Thanks very much for the confirmation, you might like to reply to the one Amazon review that reports it's not direct as that really put me off as I don't like streaming through overseas servers like some of the Chinese servers as we all know they do with your recorded and stored data as they like and there often is really not much privacy which is a big concern with internal camera's in your house… So I'm looking for a secure solution with hopefully minimal cloud services unless it's a largely recognised provided like AWS, Google, Azure..etc..
Yes, have been discussing with Amazon for a while now, thanks!

Hey OP, any nice outdoor cameras? Thanks.
This is our first deal here in Ozbargain. We're in the midst of testing the reception of our deals with AU folks. If this goes well, we will potentially post more deals in future. Yes, we do have outdoor cameras too.
Can this be used entirely offline? Eg. Record to SD card and then plug in SD card and watch the clip(s) natively using Windows Media Player for example?
Or can it only be used over network and through an app?
Works both online and offline.
Anyone know if this would work with Blue Iris?
I was looking at this exact unit and about to buy it from ebay, $42.71. Does Amazon or TeesandsuchAustralia price match?
I just want to use it as a babycam and not connected to the internet, only local wifi, so wife and I can use our phones and other android devices to check on the little one when at home.
Can you share me that link on eBay?
Thanks, see below link. Ebay also has a 10% off, or at least 5%, at the moment. I will be buying two units.

Sorry, through Amazon, we are unable to give you that rate for now :(
EDIT: the ebay price in the above link has been increased to $58.99 following my message.
Anyone used this Camera befored ?
