Two totally different games buddy.. their only similarity is that they both do battle royale.. otherwise one is more realistic like a military simulator while the other is very cartoons almost like it was inspired by the incredibles or team fortress 2.
Pubg is king. My favorite part is spending 25 minutes running around only to drop out and be killed.
Seriously though pubg, the final few circles are always a rush.
haha. same…love seeing my loot goto a needy person
PUBG is for sweaty try hards, Fortnite is for angry 12~14yo squeakers.
Ok thanks for all the information
FN is much more polished at this point, and the gap will only widen. PUBG will never be esports ready but Fortnite is practically there already.
PUBG will never be esports ready
Funny, they seem to be playing a lot of esports using PUBG.
They do that with LoL too and well.. Tried it once at a friend's house and at a Lan cafe.. I don't see it.
So really they are a completely different game and so the means they can’t really say which game is better
Fortnite is a lot of fun.
PUBG is a game that will make your heart jump out of your chest.
They're not that different, Fortnite is a game in a genre PUBG created after all, I'd say Fortnite is more casual and polished while PUBG is more rough and thrilling. That's purely from seeing game clips however, I don't play games like that.
PUBG made battle royale? Lolllll
Give me an example of a game before PUBG which had a shrinking death zone in an open area with scavenging elements, it invented the modern BR template.
Love Fortnite! Tried PUBG and H1Z1 a couple of times, not a fan. I think it probably comes down to personal preference of graphics really - I like the bright colours and the humour in Fortnite opposed to the more realistic layout of the other two.
blackops IIIII
I can’t wait For October 12
I was all aboard the PUBG bandwagon until I tried Fortnite.
I was a big fan of watching PUBG videos, and other 'Battle Royale' games ever since the Hunger Games mod was made for MineCraft some years ago, and I've also found myself drawn towards more 'serious' looking games due to the feeling of casual gamers being the core market, and mechanics being developed to cater for these people (e.g incorporating more luck than skill). On paper, PUBG is the much better option, due to a lack of bloom (accuracy being luck dependent), rewarding a slower tactical game style etc etc.
However, after months of persisting with PUBG's disgustingly poor frame rates on adequate hardware (and even on the Xbox One X), game breaking bugs, games where you can't even make it to the circle without a vehicle and more, I tried Fortnite. And, despite my hatred of their casual gaming mechanics, I would much rather take a well polished, functioning, non-buggy game that happens to be less enjoyable on paper, over a game that turns into a broken mess far more often than it should.
The key point you have to ask, is what the hell are BlueHole Studios doing with all the money they've earned? How is it that a company that has raked in the better part of a billion dollars (USD) in 2017 from ONE GAME is incapable of making the game run smoothly? It seems like they just saw the money pouring in, and instead of reinvesting that into making the game functional (let alone improving it for their customer base) they decided to sit on their pile of cash. To top it off, once Fortnite asserted its dominance, rather than looking at their competition and finally deciding to get their act together, one of their first reactions was to sue EPIC Games (Fortnite). It just looks petty when a company opts to attack their competition rather than improve themselves, especially when they are more than capable of improving (and have been for some time).
If both games were developed and polished to the same standard, then PUBG would be the better option, hands down. But the gap is massive, and with EPIC Games pushing out update after update whilst evidently listening to their community, I can't see PUBG turning it around. They had the biggest share of the gaming market in their hands but let it slip, and instead of trying to right the ship, are throwing a tantrum. How anyone can support such a product is beyond me, but whatever floats your boat.
Ok thanks for the information
Minecraft Hunger Games.
Such a horrible game
I was only joking lol
Siege
That's like asking which is better BMW or Mercedes, each to their own. Fortnite is fun, but I do like the more realistic slow pace gameplay of Pubg better.
