  • How do these compare in sound quality to the Bose QC35? Obviously the Senns are not noise cancelling.

I have the Bose at the moment, just wondering if there is any point in getting a set of these for home (wired) use.

Would it also be worth budgeting for an amp to power these? If so, any suggestions?

    • These are open bacpk head phones, what you hear someone else will be able to hear too, you may want an amp but you could still use it without an amp

      • The impedance is 150 ohms, you definitely need an amp, otherwise you may as well just get normal headphones.

        • They don't "definitely" need an amp, but they would sound better with one. My HD 6XX's get plenty loud enough connected to my iPhone 7 through the Fiio i1 (which hardly amps the signal at all), and they're 300 ohms. However, they do perform better connected to my JDS Element DAC/amp.
