Noticed a price drop on my Amazon Pre-Order from ~$88 to $69.99 w/ Free Delivery.

This is for the Headline Edition with two classic cars that will be released as Paid DLC after release.

Great price IMO considering F1 titles usually have a narrower appeal so don't get great launch prices like other AAA titles.

Also remember, if you spend > $79, you can use AMAZON20 to get $20 off your purchase. So if you've been holding off on something else could be a good time to use this :)

Each country is getting their own cover.
But yeah looks good but also weird to see him not smiling

  • Whats the difference between this and F1 2017?

Besides the car colurs etc. is the gameplay supposed to be better?

I’d rather the previous cars with no halo.

    • Things that come to mind is graphical improvements, updated roster of drivers, additional classic cars, Paul Ricard and Hockenheimring and something about an expanded career mode. They were going to announce more closer to release.

there will be a optional view that removes the centre beam of the halo in game

Isn't it silly that EA and 2K have me brainwashed into thinking that this should be called F1 2019

    • Now that you mention that it's bothering me it isn't F1 2019!

      • it's not because there will be new changes for the 2019 season (cars, tracks, rules). For example, if they called the previous game F1 2018 rather than 2017, the cars wouldn't have halos to match the current season right now in 2018.
I believe there will be areodynamic changes to next year to promote closer racing.

No I get that, it's more about the conditioning from EA that a sports title for the following year is released late to mid year of the current year.
