Please always ensure your last click before purchase is from Cashrewards. Simply click Shop Now and complete your shopping without leaving the Dan Murphy's site. A lot of untracked claims come from the fact members have other tabs open and/or are using Google or comparison sites to review their product/s before purchase. • Thanks TA, any good beer deals?

    • -1

Have you tried his own brand, Tightarse Dry?

      • -1

Left my lips puckered up & mouth totally dry.

        • -2

          How was the aftertaste?

      • Tastes like shit

    • +1

I bought a dozen bottles of wine and added a 6 pack of furphy bottles for the hell of it. The price for the beer was listed as $17.49 for 6, but came to $12 in my cart. I also scored a $2.95 promo discount for some reason. I don't understand any of this but it made me happy enough to share it.

      • furphy is $12 listed as member offer
Just received email of latest catalog offers.

        • Ah, that makes sense, thanks. I think I unsubscribed from those emails because I dislike spam, but that's just me.

          @krosmo:
Price & offers show on Dan's when logged in.

  • I just placed an order yesterday! Wàaaaaaahhh

  • Me too.

    Any GOON ??

    • There are plenty of goons on here. Isn’t that enough?

      • -1

        Goons and Plonk-ers! hehe

  • 7.5% cashback on wine? Sure, it's double the previous rate, but don't forget it was 7% every day until Dan Murphy's slashed it.

  • Good timing my beer fridge is empty.

How long does it take to get the wish cards from cash rewards?

    • First time, up to 2 business days. Subsequent times, anywhere from 2 or 4 hours up to 24 hours.
Currently I have a 4 hour turnaround time.

    • If I’ve understood correctly you’d need to buy more than $100 to get any use from this. $100 cards costs $105.50 w/ p&p. $200 worth is effectively a 2.5% discount.

      • You're thinking of Prepaid VISA cards. These are WISH eGift Cards.

Thanks TA, I was looking forward to stocking up on some ginger beer this weekend. Perfect timing.

    • Good idea. 47 listed! Suggestions?
      I'll add some to order.

The Brookvale union is on special and is a great buy.

        • +1

Thanks! Was thinking about it - great reviews but comments 500ml bottles are often hard to find.
          Luckily, 330mL Cans are on member special ($19 per 6pack) & available👍

Ordered to pick up tomorrow. Paid with discounted eGift Card. Will then order more if I like it😀

CashRewards email shows expected $0.96 on $27.49 6Pack price before member discount (3.5%)

        • +1

@Infidel: Exactly what I did. Well done. I might order some more over the weekend. It's a great price!

        • @MathNerd:
Interesting - expected cashback is calculated on full price. Just updated calculation.

Also placed order for Jameson Irish Whiskey ($39/700ml member price less $1.95 cash back & $1.95 discount on eGift Cards). I add Buderim ginger cordial for a warming Winter ginger drink.

        • @Infidel: Yeah I had my cart full of member specials and my calculated cashback was based off pre-discounted amounts. Must be the way the affiliate network is set up, won't be surprised though if the final cashback is lower, but of course Dan Murphy will do that adjustment, not Cashrewards. I'll be happy either way.

        • @MathNerd:
Estimated cash back on $39 Jamesons was calculated on that member price. Placed separate orders so can see discount on 1 product type per order.
Yes, it doesn't matter - as long as it's discounted.

        • @Infidel: Interesting! Jameson's was a member special? Didn't see that in my account :P

        • +1

          @MathNerd:
Correction: Featured in our July Catalogue - rather than member special.
So $39 is current full price & 5% is calculated on that.

$35.10 is a good price when bought with 5% discount eGift Cards & cash back.
Received email as have bought before (slightly cheaper).

        • @Infidel: Haha, well done! In terms of ginger beer, these are my recommendations:

          • Royal Jamaican (this is a Connections item though so is delivered straight from the supplier)
          • Lick Pier
          • Crabbie's
          • Matso's
          • Brookvale union

Then there's the non alcoholic, the Bundaberg is good.

        • +1

          @MathNerd:
Drank pints of Crabbie's & I think cans of Royal Jamaican on UK trips. Will work my way through your list🍻

I drink Buderim cordial Refresher (@Woolies & Coles) or lower sugar Revitalise (@Coles) rather than Bundaberg (which I find bland). Good ginger taste. Reminds me of the home made ginger beer of my childhood - we grew ginger. Mixed with Jamisons it makes a tasty ginger drink.

        • +1

@Infidel: Smashing down a Crabbie's right now 🍻🍻🍻 Fresh and crisp!
And ginger beer/ale mixed with whisky is a match made in heaven! 😋😋

        • @MathNerd:
Unfortunately not impressed. Very mild & bland for a ginger drink - similar to Bundaberg with a bit of an alcohol kick.

Am used to my mouth & throat really heated up by ginger drinks. Anything else is a waste of a drink for me.

  • Why does beer always get the lowest cash back?

    • Lowest margin I guess?

      • Possibly. I would of thought that cider would be on par with beer but apparently not.

    • -2

      Why do you think?

    • Would've thought it's the highest taxed alcohol with the lowest margin? Probably why.

  • I'm having trouble getting into my DM a/c :(
    anyone else???

    • After numerous calls to Dan Murphy's online assistance I am unable to get into my online account or make a new one :/
….extremely annoyed at missing out on this deal :(
